I've got a new bolt with a filter and a new fuel filter fitted. still the car does tick over. I can get it to start but it cuts out if I dont feather the throttle. The fuel supply into the distributor on top of the air box seems normal. I have a year old fuel pump and it sounds fine. Has anyone got any ideas why it still cuts out? cheers :confused4: :(

Thats what I've been told, the gauze can be clogged. so its in the bolt?

Hello I have got a problem with my Fuel Metering distributor. I've been told by my RAC man today, I had to get towed home today. I appear to have a fuelling issue, the car was very juddery, and eventually had to pull over and call out the RAC. There was not alot of fuel in there to be honest, but I'd just come from Morrisons Petrol station so it could be some dodgy fuel. Is there a anything I can do with the Fuel Metering distributor myself, can I clean it out or is it easy to replace? cheers for reading.. Kempy

I've had mine 2 years now, not spent much on it for things I wanted to do but spent loads on keeping it on the road, I've not been able to spend the money on the things i'd like to. Being a student dont help but I'm finished soon. I'm not going to worry about the miles, just the way it looks and goes

no, I been looking for late door pulls for my late door cards for months, I just cant get hold of any. I imagine you have a early C with the rectangle door pulls, I'm the same, I got late door cards but still have the early door pulls, otherwise they work fine, the electrics with match up fine. just look around the forum for wiring help

not sure about the heat with LED, mine is in the shade mostly, I imagine its done the mileage but its been looked after even with 9 previous owners. I don't think I'd sell it ever cause its my first corrado. I think I'll keep putting money into it

I've not left mine long enough to find out about the clock, unfortunately I got no history, and the previous owner doesn't know either. I cant tell if it's done 100k or 200k really. whats the deal with your clock? looking at the inside etc its hard to say its done 200k

I'd like to think its only done done 10200, I cant tell either way, and there is no way to find out. Apart from the clock saying 20200, and its a 92'. I reckon it could do 300k

If I wanted to sell would anyone buy a 20200 mile car? even when I think its in great condition for that amount of miles

Inlet manifold does not glow

I haven't noticed if the manifold id glowing I will take a look when I drive it next

Got new leads, dizzy, plugs still very very poor throttle, real bad flat spots, back firing, feels like poor fuelling :shrug:

Hello I've spotted a small leak in my rad at the top near the larger hose. I have a 2.0l 16v, but have put on a vr slam panel after a front end smash..My question is can I fit a larger vr6 radiator to my 9A engine on my Vr6 slam panel? Is it possible? cheers

I've had similar things happen when I flash full beams, whats that about?

I have an older 92 door card if you need one

the door windows do go up with the key, I can see a alarm under the hood but I never heard it go off, I will go and get a new key fob I think. cheers kempy
