Hello I have J plate 92' corrado, I had a key fob for the central locking but I lost it. Does this age car come standard with central locking and keyfob? Is there anything I can do about it. Also is it standard for a corrado to have total closure? my windows came up when I pushed the key fob. Does this sound like a aftermarket add on? Its not a big problem at the minute , but when I did lose it I had two passat handles that had no key holes.  cheers Kempy

hello I've got a 92 2.0l 16v, which otherwise is fine. But I had a problem a few months back and ended up with a whole new dizzy but since then I've got issues with poor acceleration in 1st and 2nd gears especially which is worrying at roundabouts and junctions. I've got my foot flat on the gas and its not pulling at all, its not all the time but 90% I'd say. Has anyone had similar problems? I am very interested in getting this fixed at a low cost cause I'm just starting a new job, I wont get paid for a month. Cheers for reading and replying Kempy

i've done a check with the RAC and nothing has been discovered, also spoke to the national mileage register and they have no info for before I bought the car. The is no records of the mileage ever, I dont know where to go now.
-
I will probably try this..
-
I ve spoken to VOSA today about the actual mileage and they only got data from mots from 2005' Is there a way to get this info any other way? because I want to find out who knows the actual mileage cheers

cheers for the posts guys, I not to bothered now from what you've said, I'm probably keeping it till 3ook, unless I have a lottery win where I'll buy a storm! anyone got any front splitters spare? Kempy

Not a lot, im sure its all saying less than 100,00 miles, i've not seen the history recently
-
i like your thinking

MOT said 83,000 when i bought it, i dont know about earlier
-
hi two years ago next march I bought it for £2400 what I thought was 83,000, it was my first rado so I know what to look out for next time
-
Well it does start everyday and my daily rider I i'm kinda impressed by it. It is nearly 16 years old. I will probably find myself keeping it till I can afford a good VR6 as I don't see myself buying anything else at the moment that looks as good.
-
I still got the MOT from when I bought it which has 83,000 on it but I don't have one from before this which would be the one to have really..
-
I want to keep the car really, but it costing money all the time, I reckon its a good looker especially as its satin silver, main problem is that i'm a student with no money for another 6 months

Its sure to effect alot of peoples evaluation OF it> it explains alot though

Hi Guys Today whilst driving around in my 92' valver I was expecting to hit a large milestone of 100,000 miles. I've had the car nearly 2 years and when I bought it (from a forum member) he told me it was on 83,000 which was good I thought. To my dismay the 100,000 was actually 200,000 the digital 1 is worn away or very faded, I'm very disappointed my car now becomes nearly unsellable nobody will buy it now as I was looking to sell it after it MOT. I just thought i'd tell people my story and maybe people might be a little more honest or in my case more aware of the potential of a dodgy clock Gutted!!

I bought a socket today and it only fitted over the last plug, i think its too thick in places, that halfords one looks better

-
Cleaned all the muck out of it today, there was loads, it humming nicely now , no stalling so far, brilliant chheers :)
