I masked the reverse light off when I did mine, not sure what other people have done?

This is what im doing right now...also I got a week off work so I should get some more stuff done to after being pulled over by the police eventually, for my Us plate. Im going back to original OEM as normal the bits are snapped so I tried a few ideas, the one Im going with is plastic welding these plastic screws I found at halfords had to fill the hole again as I got a delocked boot, which still works amazingly Also I'm investigating my heater controls, still not sure whats going on there, Ive managed to break a bit on them so I have to leave it on the screen position which isnt a bad thing gonna try to fit a wing this week and hopefully fit the plate plinth once Ive painted it, I will keep you up to date

they are basically a right tit to get out. I was taking the head off so, I went under the car undone the exhuast from the nearest point and lifted the head out with the manifold attached then removed the exhuast...this will probably not help unless you want to do a head gasket at the same time 8)

try heater elements on the glass. they might be corroded

have you the right barrel? I had to completely demolish my old one to get it out. but the new one went in quite straight forward, did you push the spring bit in as you slid it into the column?

cheers,(why did it go through so much fuel?) my injectors are loose now and not attached to anything, actually I dont have the metering head bolted up either, I will have to do this once Ive gotten closer to the finishing the bay clean I think

found out its £30 an injector :lol: :bad-words: so is there a way to test the spray etc on my old ones, maybe clean them up a bit? Jim I'll still have those crowns though 8)
