I have a PB digifant engine with flowed manifolds sat in my sisters garage. My question is will these fit my G60 engine?

I replaced the broken ARB drop link, Nice and shiney bit underneath my car-show standard you could say. Rest of the chasis lets it down though. :cuckoo:

i paid under a fiver for a pdf copy on a cd rom and i cant complain.

Try the injector seals for the sake of a few pence.

You got any other gimozs? Ive got some days off now, i'l have a good look over it, (MOT time) and report back. Now you can see why I put my early valver in the garage for later. :wink:

Early days....................... 1990 G60 in Dark Purple, LHD, imported in 1992, electric recaro interior, lots of gadgets-ABS, cruise control, headlamp adjusters, supersprint exhaust system and dented wing soon to be replaced! To do. Wing, Charger and belts, Respray, New wheels, God knows what else-I need to cut up my plastic!

Thanks guys, not really driven it far or hard as i want the charger and belts changing first-any offers? :roll: It is indeed a LHD and has the electric recaro interior, much more equipment than my early rado valver. Looking to get it re-painted when all is deemed well with the engine dept.

What does this switch do guys? Its not an MFA as thats on the other side, any clues? One says "FIX" the other says "AUFN"

Spoke to the "brain" at C&R who are official suppliers of genuine ADP's and he told me that the company has never made ADP's for the Corrado, although there was a prototype made a few years back, it never made it into production due to the fact it was bloody huuuuuge!

I'd be interested in this, I cant find one anywhere. In the past ive de-badged/trimmed my cars using dental floss (honest) Get a lenth and wrap each end around your index fingers, get it behind the bit you want to remove and use a gentle sawing motion, its never damaged the paint and helps prevent tooth decay! :roll:

Had to replace an anti roll bar drop link as the nut sheared off, as the bushes were shot I asked for them aswell. I was about to say give me a pair so I can do the other side when the parts guy annouced "Thats £41 please" :shock: Thats a lot of beer tokens for a small bit of metal. Oh well! like the bird on the telly-she's worth it!

Removing a front wing from my rado and wondered if there is more than one bolt under the wing holding it to the door hinge panel. Ive got the one on the sill and one attaching to the inner wing, anymore hidden under that underseal? Every other VAG car ive had has at least 3 bolts, need to check before i try ripping it off! :mad:

You can pick up a brand new dizzy complete with cap and arm for £50 delivered on ebay................... Im inclined to go with "bc's" idea that its fuel related, it sounds like old, leaky fuel injectors to me. I traced a hot misfiring problem to a dodgy coil-the top came off when i tried removing the coil lead! HTH

Im based in Norfolk so im looking to drive there (gingerly), need all my belts changed aswell. Dont suppose there is an expert forum member localish to me who could advise? Prices for a basic drive in/out service?

Sorry to hear the news Furks, I do hope the theiving scum didnt cut themselves whilst rying to break in, might be an idea for you to sort out your legal defence team sooner rather than later. Joking aside, hope your not too paranoid about this and sort out the storage issue soon.

I have been offered a ported and polished PB digfant head with Kent cam and flowed manifolds from a 1990 Golf GTI, my question is will this fit my G60? Are the manifolds the same? Is the cam suitable for this engine? TIA Jim
