  1. okay another tip then... when you tape off the lights (i think you'll understand what i mean but i don't know the right word in english i think) be sure you allso tape the small piece of plastic between the top and bottom part of the lights that lays deep.. gives another clean effect... no blurry paint there, just plain plastic, with above and beneath the shiny parts
  2. no just plain blacklight spray... first use a degreaser to clean them, lay them for the radiator for a few hours next to the spray and be sure that the temperature is about 17 - 28 degrees celcius... that way the black spray spreads best and gives this effect
  3. the taillights are plain original lights, with motip blacklight spray on it
  4. oh just to let you all know... my girlfriend has helped me again today and i got her i big big bouquet flowers :)
  5. well they're all done now ! looks bloody good i think (yes i know you all think the steering wheel is on the wrong side, but it isn't because i'm dutch) and offcourse more pics on my homepage http://www.corrado-g60.tk (all dutch, so follow this: corrado tips, ramen tinten met folie)
  6. well people allways want to know about air bubbles, that's why i have put them in a high resolution i stuck them myself, with help of my girlfriend... hope she ain't sick of it and will help me tomorrow with the 2 front windows ;)
  7. so i have been busy tinting my windows the last 1,5 day... the rear window really sucks... quite difficult, but it can be done.. 3 windows done, 2 to go  MOD EDIT if you upload pics to the forum instead of using external hosting the forum make them into thumbnails
  8. i have to tell you one thing andi, that isn't a real strut brace.. that's the corrado of wilfred danser and he has put that pipe in to keep the side panels in place
  9. nigel, i think you should try your woofer in a closed housing.. that way you have way more possibilities for a nice install... just for the looks then.. there's 1 difference.. with your tube you'll get a quite deep and very long bass... with a vented housing you'll get about the same but a bit shorter bass, with a closed housing you'll get a short and tight bass (the way i think is the most natural) that way it's allso nicer to build it all away with side panels, lighting etc.
  10. i've converted my drawing to a bitmap file now, if you are able to print anything in autocad, just tell me, because an autocad dwg file works 10 times sharper. please mail me your personal email adress again so i can send it to you (i thought i could upload a file here ?!?!) file uploading won't work here with my connection.., maybe because the file is 2.8 mb
  11. i've made some designs for the corrado drivers in the netherlands, and one in belgium myself... look at this : (my own install with a compartment to put the standard junk like tow cables etc. in) install includes: 2 halogen spots, power capacitor, sherwood class a amplifier, jbl gt2 12" subwoofer, infinity 3 way compo speaker (and still room for 2 boxes beer(y)) this one is from my mate Danny... visit his page at http://www.mulhof.nl for more pic's (with a double bottom where the amp will be put, underneath the spare wheel still available because the whole install can be flipped over about 80 degrees) (it's made so it can be put in 2 ways) (more recent pics with neon and amp built in, cloth put on etc etc on danny's homepage http://www.mulhof.nl ) next one is from christof from belguim, 2 kenwood 12" woofers, 2 kenwood amps and a powercapacitor (i think you'll have enough new ideas now, but you could allways visit http://www.corrado-g60.tk for all pictures of these installs, or http://www.showyoursound.nl for hundreds of installs)
  12. Doesn't anyone know MAGNAT out there ???
  13. i have an armrest here of an escort... which... ALLMOST fits... i don't want to damage the car building an armrest, so i have chosen for this model, no bolts needed
  14. i've been to the automaxx festival and made some pictures (324) http://www.corrado-g60.tk under the button MEETING FOTO'S (the bottom one) some previews: for the rest... you'll have to look for yourself.... i think over 300 pictures is a little too much for the forum ;)
  15. try adobe photodeluxe home edition... it's quite easy understandable if you have no experience using any photo programme... or look http://www.photoshopjunkie.com/ for information how to use photoshop.. paint shop pro doesn't have as much possibilities
  16. ehmmm... so you'll need to change the rev counter to 8000 rpm... and... try to fade out the pictures... the sharp edge gives it a cheap look i think..
  17. sure there are some dials faces for the 16vMartin's website or click to downloadHERE
  18. yes, that way the wiper comes closer to the window and the rubber part presses more on the window
  19. there are 2 other options... 1. just put in an extra washer beneath the axe of the original whiper.. so the wiper comes closer to the glass.. works perfects and allmost no costs. 2. build a mono-whiper... you'll need: - the whiper mechanism (the metal part, not the wiper enigine) of a seat ibiza '91 (or near that year, but with the mono whiper) this mechanism works like a bonrath, but at the scrap heap it's a lot cheaper than a bonrath :) - a whiper of a lancia ypsilon ( i don't know the year but its a whiper with a widt of approx 0,5 inch) - the original whiper enigine to build: * i don't know how the enigine of a rhd is placed, but with a lhd the enigine comes on the drivers side, where it's normally at, then 180 degrees turned and upside down (onto the ibiza mechanism) * the mechanism of the ibiza should be shortened for about 2 inches (no welding needed) * then you just place the lancia whiper and give it the right set up (looks best lying down, because the whiper hole isn't in the middle of the car)
  20. i don't know if you know the CONRAD business, well know in the netherlands and germany,.... i have seen a little print with the components on their site..
  21. i dind't say WHEN the lack should be polished ... ;)
