  1. arg we offered £3500 Initially as that was the price I thought was best, they really are looking for 4 tho :-(. They look alot like the vr6 alloys and are VW alloys but not the standard ones, they paid 600 squid to get another set for some reason. Before they moved it they changed the filter and oil, and they have done that every half service to. Not sure of it's last service, going to go and see it next weekend.
  2. Hi guys it looks like I am but a week- 2 weeks away from getting my Corrado. I posted a few weeks ago about it's head problem, and the fact it had been left for a year and a half standing. Since then the current owners (a friend of the family) told us he paid over a grand to have it all fixed in a VW-Audi dealer at about 96,000 miles (he has the reciept!!!!) The car is a 95 M 2l valver, 110,000 on the clock, fVWsh, vr6 alloys, sunroof, few other bits and bobs. It is being MOTed today and is going to fail due to the front disks being corroded which, they are going to replaced. They also put 6 months tax on it, would £4000 be a fair price???
  3. As stupid as this is, the Cobra 7928 reduces my insurance by 30 quid more than the Clifford Concept 300 (tesco.com). And would only cost me 300 as oposed to the 375 fitted... Has anyone got a Cobra or know of any problems with them. I know I'll get some less features, but to be honest I prolly wouldn't use half the stuff that comes with the Clifford, I don't really like to pose
  4. Where is that m8, should be getting my C in mid July, and I need a resident expert??

    Long time Standing!

Cheers, I plan to redo the brakes asap, I still have my current car till christmas and at 21 it's impossible to insure 2 cars. Regards the engine, it may of not been in such good shape before being left for ages :-(....... Any ideas
  6. Hi all I'm new to the board, I've been looking for a Corrado for a while now and ideally I wanted a 1.8 16v, but my dad has a friend who wants shot of his son' 94 (M reg) 2.0l 16v from his drive. It has sat there for the past year and a half. The brakes have seased (unsuprisingly), but more worryingly the engine has some issues having sat there soo long :-(. As a result and purely for removing it from the drive I'd get a great price, but any ideas what the main probs could be?? or How much a replacement 2.0 16v would be (in the worst case)?? or Could I fit the 1.8 16v (-cat of course)?? How easy is the corrado to work on?? I have a garage and a mechanic who is a friend and willing to help out, but I am wondering if u guys think it's a worthy project and could I do it as my first project car??
