Thanks Phil :D the sticker looks great  but i thought i would show my appreciation for the site by taking a picture of it on my car. I LOVE the colour, especially now as the weather is better here it just looks stunning in the sun!

Hi Guys,I just got back from my hols and the first thing i done when i got back was go out in my C and take some pictures as i got my new camera when i got back! I took a few at my house first then went for a drive about and took some pics in a lay by next to some wind turbines so they look cool! I hope you like it, i think its sexual
-
I think that would look cack tbh and like Walesy pointed out it would get stone chipped to buggery and if your C is lowered it would scrape the paint off!
-
Oh right fair enough then! In that case its a good idea to go for a new colour, i wouldnt want to spent shed loads of money for my car to look exactly the same almost
-
 yeah that would be an issue! Well it looks ace now so its not as if you are driving round in a shed that needs a respray etc!
-
No probs mate :thumb right: i think it will look trouser twitchingly nice when its done
-
Yeah but didnt Jezza say that about the vauxhall astra and he ended up eating his own hair in an omelette because he was wrong
-
Thank god for that
-
Like this then:
-
Ahhh thats better  its almost grey with a bluey purpley hint, looks quite nice actually!
-
It is a difficult colour to get lol, thing is when 'shoppin the colour, its quite a solid colour with just the original reflections shining through so i cant quite grasp it. I will have to get more picstures of the colour and have another go! I WONT be defeated
-
Hmm :| its still not quite there is it?
-
Cheers mate :D Bit more like this maybe?
-
I think its very Alfa Brera as well, its not a bad looking car but i think it could of been alot better, it just looks like its going to be another clone car! I still think the corrado can never be beaten for looks :D
-
The reflection came all the way from america  i just searched for a C with a smooth bumper to which i used ToffeeRado's, chopped it off and blended it on Mr Beige's and changed the colour. To change the colour of the car i duplicate the layer with the whole image on, then change the colour using Hue/Saturate and then chop off everything around the car and on the car thats not paintwork etc. I learnt how to photoshop from a website called Digimods (http://www.digimods.co.uk) and it tells you how to change the colour HERE

I have this problem on my VR6, except mine tells me one minute i have loads of fuel and the next none etc. I done a search and asked about it on here to which i was told it was the fuel level sender which sits in the tank. This is either faulty or has a bad connection and the problem will be sorted if i change this. On a corrado this can be easily reached through the boot but i am not sure about golfs im afraid. If yours is just readin wrong then apparently they can just be adjusted which you are supposed to do if you change anything to do with the fuel tank/pump etc anyway. You can read my thread HERE

Cool, anyway here is the next 'shop mate :D

 im soooo glad i got the colour wrong because that sky blue would just look plain wrong! Yeah i will have a bash at smoothing the bumber and dropping the front. I thought the front looked high but im guessing thats because its on a slight slope?
-
This any better:
-
Whoa i was WELL off then  sorry mrbeige i will try again later with the proper colour! (i was wondering why you wanted a sky blue on a corrado ) Rob.
-
I had a quick go for you mate. I just googled helios blue and got a picture of a golf mk1 come up so i hope its the right colour lol.
-
Yeah thats what i was thinking about them, they are supposed to be good for cars that run carbs as my other mate who has a renault 5 gt-turbo has one and he said they are worth getting but i was just wondering whether it would do anything on the VR. I will just stick to optimax ... oops i mean v-power

Hi, my mate has got a fuel cat on his audi a3 1.8 t and has offered it to me as he reckons my VR6 would benefit more from one. They are basically like running your car on super unleaded when only using normal 95 ron unleaded. They give better fuel economy and better emmissions which worked on his audi apparently when he got it mot'd. Just wondered if anyone has ever used these on a VR6 and if they noticed any differences? HERE is the website my mate got his off. Thanks, Rob.
