Hi everyone, My sister writ off her ford ka the other week and is now after a cheap but reliable good car. She is looking at golf Mk2's nt a GTI or anything fancy as she cant afford the insurance. She has found one she likes on ebay which is ending soon and wants to know if she should bid on it and how much she should bid to as it seems quite a good one and being a corrado man im sure i will get it looking good  THIS is the one she is looking at so any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob.

Ok a tenner, a pack of peanuts and a kitkat cant say fairer than that  Seriously now its a very very nice example of a Corrado with the added bonus of the 4motion engine so i reckon £5k + for it. Rob.

Trial fitted my new wheels Brock B2's (without tyres hence trial fitted ) they look the nuts, cant wait to get paid and get the tyres on them and put them on!!
-
I will give you a tenner and a pack of peanuts for it

Ok people own up who spotted the corrado on the tv program Bon Voyage lastnight? I did :D i got well excited which is a bit sad really  my gf also noticed it. There was a scene with some police cars in France parked up and there was a black (or poss moonlight blue) corrado behind them. I think there was also one (maybe same one) on the motorway they were travelling on but it may of been just another vw with a slat grill! Rob.

Here you go Karl i had a quick go whilst i remembered
-
Nope thats just my fluffy dice! Colour code i believe is LK4Z for blackberry metallic mate. Rob.

Well there's bound to be some bad luck for some people today round my neck of the woods because the fog is immense  i couldn't see anything driving to work this morning!!
-
For the interior i would go for the TT dash conversion with porsche leather seats and full re-trim, would look the nuts!
-
Well imo stay away from bodykits, i dont think they suit the corrado. To get a nice subtle looking car then you want coilovers and then slam it to the floor, put some nice deep dish 16" wheels (with some arch work done so they fit). Red tint rear lights, badgelsss grill with or without eyebrow. If you want expensive but subtle mods then maybe some audi door handles, smoothed tailgate, smoothed roof channels and fully colour code it. Like said above the list is endless with money no object :) Rob.

Good choice in car mate i had a zetec-s before i got my VR6 :D unlucky about it getting keyed though. Good luck getting it sorted! Rob.
-
A VR6 engine :-P

Try the search mate as this question must be asked every week by someone new. A lot of guys are running 17's on the forum, they are a good size wheel for the corrado, although like Critical_Mass said if you dont have the car lowered it will look very high like a 4x4  if you do lower it then you may need to at least get your arches rolled i would imagine. Rob.

Cheers guys, i have pretty much told her to check the same things everyone has mentioned, apart from the porous thing but i have now  she has got to take it for an MOT tomorrow so i think she will ask about it there. Sadly i cant help her out with the problem as she is a GIRL (and a fit one at that ) and i have a gf :(
-
Nice one guys, i will let her know. So how would they be fixed then? Rob.
-
So do wheels become porous over time or are they like it when new but get worse over time?
-
Nice one mate, so kinda like pores in your skin then
-

Hi all, A friend of mine has a Ford (dont laugh) Fiesta RS and is having problem with her tyres, basically they keep going down slowly. She took it to the garage and they checked for slow punctures and there aren't any. They also resealed the rims because they thought being an old car the wheels might be letting air escape, but the tyres are still going down. The tyres are 2 years old and pass MOT on tread etc. I have mentioned checking the valves and asked if she has dust cpas on all the valves. So other than these can anyone think of any reasons why they could be going down? And i am aware that its a ford :-P  Thanks, Rob.
