Ooh an S4! £600 for insurance is nothing im paying £1200 fully comp for my VR and i was on your position when thinkin about gettin one and now i got one i dont regret it at all! So you may regret NOT gettin it in the end if the price is good. Also your sig says your car has 205bhp, is that just from the K&N panel filter or have you done more? Rob.
-
Yeah but i bet the whine is less annoying when you look at your speedo
-
Looking good mate :D is your BMC filter a panel filter with standard airbox or a CDA induction kit? Did you notice much gains with the decat and filter? Mine is lowered 40mm and i think its a perfect drop on a corrado! Rob.
-
The lights are being sorted mate, i had a result with these as i got a PM off of Ryan S asking if i could swap with him for his all reds as he fancies tinted orange which are what mine are, and he is driving past my house next week to work and so drop by to swap  REEESULT! As for the induction kit, i fitted it and it sounded the nuts like yours BUT my c did NOT like it, it kept cutting out and the idle was dodgy so i have took it off for now. I might sell it back on though and save for a BMC CDA kit :D

How many forum members plan on NEVER selling their Corrado?
herisites replied to godskitchen's topic in General Car Chat
Well i have just got mine and i never want to sell it, my plan is to keep it in the garage as a project car when i go back to uni and just get a boring little cheap car to go uni and back and bring the VR out weekends etc. I also plan to be earning enough money to keep it as a second car which will one day have a supercharged R32 4x4 conversion  Rob. -
 MORE photos! This time though i thought i would get creative with my new camera so done some interior abstract pics, which i think look pretty good. Whats everyone else think? I will do some of the exterior when the sun comes out and i have washed my car!

Cheers mate :D

Ok i have decided to do some photoshops of how i would like my car to look. The mods are: - New wheels (Brock B2's off Benny) - Personalised numberplate - Colour coded rear numberplate surround - De-volkswagen-badged and de-wipered - Light tints all round (but not sure about these) - Tail lights re-painted red (they are just smoked orange at the mo and im not keen) - Eyebrow spoiler (again maybe as i quite like just the badgless) Let me know what you all think about my plans! Enjoy...
-
Ditto! When i was looking for a C i wouldnt even consider one with big wheels on, i wanted one as standard and mint as possible. I think you would get more interest with the speedlines on, and you could always mention you have a set of 17's available at extra cost etc, cant hurt! Rob.
-
WOW! this is one amazing looking corrado, i love the cream interior! I agree with timg60, charge it! Rob.

Thanks, i didnt get a chance to have a look lastnight, but i will try that today. Also i have noticed with my headlights now that i have the loom that the high beam i shed loads brighter so very happy with that, but my dipped beam does not seem to be a lot brighter, its probably due to not remembering how bad it was standard but im still not completely happy. What bulbs do people use as these would obviusly help? Thanks, Rob.
-
Ok i will try that later and see if it works. So i take it that the sidelight should work then?
-
Hi, I recently purchased one of the group buy uprated headlight looms. I have fitted it following the instruction provided and the lights work and so far seem brighter. However i have no sidelights, if i turn my headlight switch to turn the sidelights on my headlights turn on full and it doesnt change when i change the switch to full on. My high beams work as normal as well and are considerably brighter. Should i be able to use sidelights with the loom or have i sacrificed sidelights for better headlights? (i done a search but the results were different problems) Rob.
-
I have also fitted my uprated headlight loom and still waiting for my aero wipers to get delivered from parcelforce! I dont know if i have fitted my loom properly though as my sidelights dont work just main beam, is it supposed to be like this or have i fitted it wrong? Rob.

Nice one Karl! Looks great, loving the RC's and you are a lucky git to have it charged! I would love to charge mine one day, but im still getting used to the power it has standard at the mo which is enough for the moment  If you are ever in northamptonshire mate you will have to take me for a blast! Rob. -
FOR SALE  someone will be getting a bloody nice C if you do sell it mate!
-
Holy moly thats a lot of money! must be a vr6, hardly been driven at all not even 2k miles a year!!

No i was too slow, i started fumbling through the gf's bag for the camera or my phone whichever first but we were on the bus so by then it was out of view :( it was a bit of a sorry state though being a bit chavved and dusty/dirty!
-
I have just got back from my hols on Zakynthos, Greece which was great, sucks being back but hey  When we got there, its a typical holiday island i.e desserted for miles then you come across a lively area with a beach etc and all the cars are dusty european sheds with the occassional dusty audi, lexus etc which look beautiful compared to the rest of the crud there. My girfriend points out that there are quite a few puntos (as she has one so she was quite excited about this) so i say "you wont see any corrado's here on such a small island, no way hosay". Next day we go on a boat trip and get to the harbour, gf turns round to me and says "Look a corrado and you said there wouldnt be any", "Doh!". It was the only one i saw mind and it was a bit boyed up which was quite dissapointing, it was a red G60 with bodykit, wheels, crystal rear lights etc. So anyway i felt quite embarrased by that impressing my gf by saying that my car was special and rare and you would never see one and then she finds one, oh the shame . Just thought i would share that with everyone as i felt the need to post something now im back  Rob.
-
I resized the pics to post up as the originals are HUGE  if you want any of the originals then just let me know and i will send you some. Rob.
-
 no not quite mate! I love my C, i find every possible opportunity to drive it and even find myself still looking out the window at it every now and then! I cant wait to get some nice phat wheels on it but i got no money at the mo :( and if i had the money i would charge it like yours Karl but thats going to be a LONG way yet lol Oh and expect loads more pics to come as im still experimenting with my camera, im having a go at some arty farty abstract pics as well so i will post some up soon :D
-
Wow! car look stunning Dan i used to want your car so bad because it was mint and now i have one exactly the same apart from mine is dropped 40mm so think thats what you should do to yours, its a good drop i dont catch my 90mm splitter on speedbumps (unless i go fast and forget about it being lowered ) and it looks spot on imo :D Only difference is yours has leather and i dont :( but i really like the cloth i have!
-
It does look good lowered, mine is only lowered 40mm but i think it looks spot on, especially with the 90mm splitter, i noticed yours has the 50mm one so you could slam yours alot more  i am not sure how well mine will look when i get some wide wheels on though as im worried it will give the "buggy" look as Bally said on the previous pages.
