Its just had the tracking done at VW as there was an issue with the steering/handling, it now drives spot on, absolutely any inspection welcome, this is one of the best Corrados in the country and whilst in getting the tracking done, it had everyone in the garage round having a look, it is truly stunning. I'll get some pics up later SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE Previous owner pic on RS301s Underneath Interior As it stands Can also come with these pretty rare fitment 3 peice Speedlines - 17x7.5, ET35, 5x100 which now have brand new Hankook K120 Ventus V12 Evo 205/40s fitted. These would be an extra £1200.00
  2. Well folks, after a few discussions with the wife, we have agreed that it was a mistake to buy this car just now. I had persuaded her to let me use part of our savings to buy it, telling her that the car wanted for nothing and that I would not have to spend any money on it for a good while, now I know it was only £300 and it is all fine now, but try telling her that :mad2: So, its with deep regret, but it looks like its going back up for sale, shame as its without a doubt, one of the best Corrado's out there and I really cant see me having another now. I'll be sorting out a sale add later. Please, no PM's regarding the car unless you want to buy.
  3. That plates long gone, may have another I can use if its a keeper, the wife may decide otherwise :hitler::)
  4. Nah, they're getting a bit common these days :thumbleft:
  5. Cheers James, but I'm taking no credit for the work that Chris has done in the last couple of years, its just a shame after all the hours and money put in that it hadn't been set up properly, certainly would have saved me a few arguments with the wife
  6. Yes, £300 down but now driving and handling as good as it looks, ABS also sorted along with faulty sender on the coolant bottle... oh and the windscreen washers also now work!
  7. Day 2 at VW, it seems that Stevie Wonder set up the Tracking and Geometry!
  8. Thats not exactly cheap, try these >> https://www.paisleyfreight.com/alloy-wheels.php
  9. Cheers for the comments folks, you all know the car, its hard not to like it. I agree the Speedlines look pretty naff after it having the RS's, I did have a set of rims lined up, but have had to put them on hold for now, first thing is to get the handling sorted, shouldn't be anything serious as pretty much everything is new or refurbed, I'm guessing top mounts, we shall see soon enough
  10. And a couple of reflection shots, all taken with the iphone, so not to bad really!
  11. Well, I thought I should stick a few pics up seeing that I managed to get some time to give her a wash. Cosmetically, it cant be faulted and is a credit to its former owners, Chris and Bill, there are a couple of issues with the handling that will be addressed this coming week.
  12. Nice rims James, always liked the RC's on a Rado

My 11yo son took it up last year, the wife took him along and she was gonna sit and read until he was finished as it was a 20 min drive each way, she ended up getting talked into having a go, they both now have their own bows and go every week
  14. Looks minty fresh Chris, very nice :thumbleft:
  15. I honestly couldn't pick from the choice, before I saw the pics with the Nothelles, I'd have said RS's every day of the week, but the Nothelles look awesome, they are both pretty rare though and I dont think you could have a better set of option rims with either
  16. Unfortunatly, he is no longer modding after this thread >> http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=84461 Shame, seemed like a good bloke and I always got a good laugh with his sometimes fairly blunt replies
  17. Looks absolutely spot on Michael, ride height and rim width :shades:
  18. Was looking at the G60 earlier, looks like a decent buy for the price and as said already, the Recaro's are worth a £600-£1k depending on condition and the plate is worth a few hundred to the right buyer. The Red VR doesn't look to bad either for the money, mileage shouldn't be an issue if its been well seviced, check to see if there's any history of the chains/tensioner being done, if they have, it could be a good buy
  19. No worries, sorry there was nothing better
  20. We have a pile of stuff in the attic, would have to dig some of it out, anything in particular you were looking for
  21. Was kinda hoping it wasn't gonna be so soon Chris, you know I want it, just cant just now :( :bonk:

  23. Looks pretty tidy as is :thumbleft: Rear quarters are bonded in, so no problem and unless there is signs of rust around the windscreen, it doesn't have to come out
