I am based about 1/2 way between Bath and Bristol, I got my Celtic shirt from some Chogi's in Basrah
-
I am also a member of the "INOCFC" Iraqi's Number One Celtic Fan Club :-) with the T-shirt to prove it!!
-
Yup, how did you guess? (the shitty house and the T-shirt with the Iraqi flag on?) ;-) I am in the Army
-
washed it today with Meguiar's NXT wash and Tech wax and was well chuffed with the results
-
WELL chuffed with NXT, I bought a kit from Halfords containing the wash mit, NXT wash, Tech Wax and some glass cleaner for £30. Spent 10 minutes washing the car and about 30 - 45 mins waxing it by hand and these are the results. Believe it or not this is pictures of a classic green corrado
-
it was a coil pack one from a 97 golf VR6. The guy is going to give me a refund as I have checked the underneath and it is completley different
-
steve @ - Are you sure the golf and corradol VR6 inlet manifolds are different, as the bloke I bought it off thinks they are both the same?
-
w00t I won it, and have had an offer from someone to help me fit it :-)
-
I am off next week too!!! (was off this week and last week too!!!)
-
yup :-) I thought I might have seen you in Bristol earlier, but I noticed from your pic that yours is a K reg. As I spotted a Black G60 with tinted rear lights driving through Cribbs Causeway earlier
-
steve @ - it says on the bay of E that it is for a corrado or golf so I hope so
-
£120, I was going to do it to my own but this way the C isnt off the road too long, plus it would have taken me bloody hours to get mine that shiny as it is minging :-)
-
shiny isnt it :-)
-
I will hopefully be the proud owner of a polished inlet manifold for my VR6 in the next hour or so (as long as no-one out bids me with silly money) and just wondered if anyone knew how easy it was to fit/replace this?
-
It is Motor Services in Chippenham, which is a VW service centre and part of the Motor Services in Bath dealership. Their labour charges are about £68 per hour and he reacons it will take about an hour to do it. It is getting done on monday so I will let you know exactly how much it will be then, but they have been pretty reasonable with everything else that I have had done there and I have been getting my Passat serviced and maintained there too for the last year or so
-
I figured it was to do with the resistance change as there was an open circuit on the other side, I might be wrong though as last time I had this problem was in 1995 on a Skoda Favorit and there have been a lot of heavy nights on the lash since then, but I was sure that was what I found then, plus that car kwas kind of weird (eg my mileometer stopped working after 19k miles, one day I changed the windscreen wiper arms and blades and gave it a wash and the milometer started working again!!! after 3 years of not working)
-
it will normally be the bulbs on the otherside that wouldnt be working, eg right hand indicator indicates quickly = one of left hand indicator bulbs blown
-
wheels, front lights and rear lights I will do (as easily reversible :-) )
-
should I keep my storm as close to standard as possible or should I just mod it to death  :?: :!: :-( any ideas appreciated
-
my C is going to the local VW stealer on Monday to get a new sunroof motor, cables, lubing & labour for £168 (I had an intermitant motor, thought I might aswell get the rest done while they were there)
-
fingers crossed :2gunfire:
-
my corrado is going to the local VW steelers for a new sunroof motor on Monday, I will either see if I can steal some from them or find out a part number if they dont have any there for u
