Did you have any luck fixing the problem? I have just fitted leather interior into my 16v but have yet to do the door cards. I've also got manual windows and want to change to electric. What did you have in your 'rado? Thanks Stefan

Andy (http://www.trimwizard.co.uk) fitted the Cobra 7928 alarm to my corrado and did a superb job. He also removed the badly installed immobiliser and repaired two small rips on my leather seat which now looks great. Highly recommended. Stefan

I've got a 1990 rado and am desperately seeking a random spare or space saver with an ET35 offset code. Does anyone have one to sell or know of anywhere where I can get one? Got 17's on my Corrado. Many thanks Stefan

Andy (Trimwizard) is coming to fit my Cobra alarm next Friday and repair a small amount of damaged to my new (used) leather seats I put in this week. Will post the results. Stefan

I've got the same on my 1.8 16v. I just purchased and fitted a full leather interior incl. door cards. I now want to go from manual to electric windows so I can fit the leather door cards. Did any of you change yours? What was the cost etc. I have looked at the link from clubgti and will keep searching tonight for more info. Any help appreciated. Stefan

I am about to do the same tomorrow, just bought a full set of leather seats and door cards from ebay and these diagrams are great. Where did you get them from Toad? Thanks Stefan -
I'm really sorry to hear about that. I'm on ebay a few times a day so will keep a look out for you and have noted the engine number. Hope you/the police find it. Keep us posted. Stefan

Recommended body shop in London
the delta force replied to the delta force's topic in Suppliers Forum
£3,500...incl. removing windows etc. It is alot, but they are probably one of the best... I will check out the other recommended body shop though... -
Just spoke to NSJ Audio and they will fit an autowatch 160RLi CAT alarm for £250 cash for forum members instead of the advertised £290.

A friend of mine had his car resprayed by GVN Coachworks in Chiswick, they did a fantastic job. Found out they do all body work for signature car hire and had one of there Vantage V8's and a Gallardo in when I dropped him off. Nice! They are not cheap but I am going to take my rado in for a full respray. 2,Bollo Lane, London, W4 5LE Tel: 020 8994 1111 Ask for Gerald

Booked into Stealth for head rebuild, chains & tensioners...
the delta force replied to monzablau16v's topic in Engine Bay
How much have Stealth quoted? I've got a 1990 1.8 16v with 132 on the clock and looking to get a rebuild early next year?. Have had mine for about 4 years and need to start getting ideas and investing? -
I've seen worse, it was resprayed about 7 years ago so from the distance it looks nice. But I keep finding scratches and cracks in the paintwork. I could get it done in Poland (being half Polish) for a half the price of what I would be paying here. A friend had some work done on his Golf over there and it looked like it had come off the production line it was so good... Will post some pics....
-
Hi, if you don't mind me asking, How much are you paying for the paint job? I've got a 1.8 16v in need of alot of TLC but until next year don't have enough funds to do much to it. Will post some pictures this weekend... Stefan

How do I turn my 2.0 16v into a bad mutha f**ka?
the delta force replied to staffs_til_i_die's topic in Engine Bay
Possibly the bearings although you would get the grinding noise when making the slightest of turns. I see your in Kingston, I go to a good, reliable and for London pretty cheap mechanic in Hounslow. Chris M Motors Hounslow Gardens Hounslow 02088988485 Its right next to Hounslow Station. ask for Steve if you call. Stefan -
How do I turn my 2.0 16v into a bad mutha f**ka?
the delta force replied to staffs_til_i_die's topic in Engine Bay
Do you get a grinding noise when turning or just a full lock? Doubt it will be a fluid problem. I have had my 1.8 16v for nearly three years and although it had been modded slightly I just found myself doing things as they needed doing. Although I am now looking at getting things done for the sake of it.... wheel refurb will be next... -
Still teaching myself on the in's and out's of the car, stupid question but I'm guessing this would be visible? I can't see any leaks.

The fan runs as it should but as far as I am aware the fuel pump isn't running.

I'm going mad trying to find out what the problem is.... Scenario: My 1990 16v Corrado starts perfectly in the morning after being left all night or even longer, even if I park up for a few minutes and then start it again it's fine. However, if I leave the car for an approx 1-4 hours and then try and start it, it either takes a while to turn over or starts and cuts out straight away. I then have to really rev it after turning the ignition key in order for it to get going..... I have no idea what the problem is so any help would be great... Thanks Stefan

How much crap do you carry about in your car?
the delta force replied to PhatVR6's topic in General Car Chat
Two parking permits, 5 golf balls (I don't play golf) A KLM airlines blanket Screen wash A mini Poland kit A six cell maglite Oil CD collection (about 30) mostly crap 'Bike' magazine FHM Kitchen roll!?! Not too bad I guess.... -
I've been a member for just over a month and in the very near future want to start re-trimming my cloth seats. Probably do the front first and then the rear later in the year. My 1990 Corrado is showing it's age on the inside but can't afford to do them all at once. Does anyone know of places in London or the South-east that can do them? Many thanks Stefan
