They've been entertaining, but nothing to do with new cars. Its become all about the stunts and less about new cars.

Getting progressively more disappointed with TG, its a car show ffs, not a science program. That's what Brainiac is for. Where are all the car reviews? One in two weeks is weak. Not happy that they've now started to plug movies now as well. (OK so it was Hot Fuzz, but Hugh Grant's movie was p*ss poor and neither have anything to do with cars)

I think he means http://www.frost.co.uk :)

How about a p/x on an valver? Cheaper to run...

Its saying that it you'll enjoy the stereo so much you won't want to drive the car whatever make it is and even when it will get clamped and you still won't care cos you'll be rocking out to the choons. I think. Bit of a crummy ad, no-one who owned a C would just sit there!

I actually find the average road in London isn't that bad for potholes, its the big old depressions in the road caused by buses that annoy me, i've now got huge pecs from fighting the tramlining. I used to live in Southampton and the roads round there were diabolical. Now I live just south of Brixton, the roads aren't too bad. I think the problem is the sheer volume of traffic, once a pothole appears it rapidly grows into a quarry sized hole. Short of getting under the car and pulling things till you find out what's banging I dunno what to suggest. But it sounds like maybe a bush has gone?

How do I turn my 2.0 16v into a bad mutha f**ka?

Don't bother unless its buzzing loudly, unless you wanna have it new for peace of minds sake. Do the fuel filter first I'd say, then the pump. More power - different cam maybe? Forced induction? Buy a Ferrari? -
You said it. Pile of poo. So glad I got the fekker crushed, it had sooo many problems with it by the end... though the final straw was when it didn't go round a bend properly and I ended up caning the front nearside wheel and bending various things. The only good thing about the car was the metallic blue paintwork and even that got scraped to buggery by some toerags in a carpark.

Ahh, so its not a problem then? That's a bloody relief. It started to freak me out a bit, cos on my old car {astra gsi - the shame:(} when you sat in traffic it went up, so you could get about 60 mpg. I would have thought that would have been the more logical way? But then I have no common sense lol.
-
Was sitting in traffic today and I noticed that my mpg fell badly when sitting still. I reset the MFA and was getting about 30mpg whilst driving along, but then when I stopped it dropped down to about 19mpg. What the hell is going on? HELP PLEASE!

Sliced bread ain't all that....haven't they heard of a breadknife? And surely things like computers, central heating and x-ray machines are better inventions?

I go past Joe Macari's in Wnadsworth on the South Circular quite often, its always full of lovely old Ferraris and Porsches. Its on a one-way system, so I sometimes go round again if its not busy, or kerb crawl past if it is. There's a Roman's near Redhill too, loads of top spec cars like the one near Johnny_L, but I'd say my fave would be the TVR Tuscan. Its so mean and British too! Are these Nazis, Walter? No Donny, these men are nihilists. There's nothing to be afraid of.

Yes, but I'm sure that no-one from this country would react like those hicks would. If I saw a group of cars with 'Man Love Is Ok', 'BTCC sucks' "Garage is gay' etc, I would laugh heartily and certainly not react with hate and anger. You make a very valid point about Iraq and New Orleans, its scandalous that they have spent billions on the oil war and no way near that for their own citizens.
-
Its amazing that rednecks would react that like that - especially in what is meant to be a highly religious state. What happened to forgiveness and love for the fellow man? No, when man-love was suggested they threw rocks like some primal idiots. No sense of irony and no brains. I'm never going to the deep south! Did you see the credits? Everyone was called Billy Bob. Classic.

Very nice, it must be great to be able to see at night. I've got an uprated loom but still think that a pair of maglites would be better. Will have to invest in some of those, though obviously not at 250 quid! Ees redeeculos.
-
You got any pics from inside the car? can't really tell from head on!
-
its great the way the first guy keeps gunning it, until he's had about 5 crashes and decides that's enough.
-
:cuckoo: Nutter! No tread on his tyres and lots of sand must help. Love the music too.

Finally got hold of some of those ultra-rare clips for the fuse box cover - now it doesn't fall on my leg while I'm driving. Yay! :)

Wierd complaint, my rado's quicker then I expected!!

Shame, but if he was prone to driving at 160 whilst filming with one hand...... I agree with the above, get it on a RR. Wish my 16v did that much, only had it up to 130 so far (on a private road of course!) -
I'm loving mine, spent not very much on her so far after 8 months of ownership. Just about to shell out for a new zorst however..... Did get me in trouble with the law the other night "You took that corner far too fast and then booted it off down the road...Not running away from us were you?" "Nope, didn't even see you through my steamed up windows!" I didn't say that the C could easily take the corner faster, don't think they would have been too impressed.

Sabine Driving M5 Vs 996 GT3 at The Ring!
The_Dude replied to rado-steve's topic in General Car Chat
Cool! that's a wicked vid. She must get very peed off with those bikes, they're so small yet seem to take up all of the track. also check out the porsche 996 gt3 race too, its pretty intense. -
Pikey scum! :lcop: Caught! And charged! :2gunfire:

Was discussing this with a mate the other day - the best solution we came up with was electrifying the whole car with some huge step-up transformer. The exploding car a-la James Bond was also pretty good, but could prove a bit expensive......
