That's not even a proper car programme, its absolutely rubbish. They're trying to be like Top Gear with loads of gimmicks and different tests, however they have got it completely wrong and it just seems really cheap. You'll never better Clarkson and co. Looking forward to the new series.

its the taste of toothpaste. :) no wear and tear, basically like new.

D'oh! Getting highly confused. Cheers for the info Supercharged. I agree totally, if the company now has such a bad rep it would make so much more sense to come up with a new name. After all, its harder to change a bad name than start afresh.

All i get is loads of stuff on Telemarketing Sales Rules! I take it TSR is the wheel company that used to make the highly popular Blades back in the day.
-
What happened with tsr then?
-
Yeah this works a treat. I did this to a car full of rudys when I tried to change lanes and they wouldn't let me infront cos they thought i was cutting them up, the guy in the back was giving me deathstares, trying to look like fiddy cent, i was laughing and blowing kisses at him. he started to look confused and eventually he turned away. pmsl.

she only does universal fit ones or tailor made ford transit ones, its mainly for commercial vehicles. sorry bud. have a look on flea-bay for snap-ons but here's one for ya. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110077804723

come and sit on santa's lap!

i got a mate who's doing the accounts for someone in this game, have emailed her to ask, but don't hold your breath!
-
yep, IIRC its exactly the same engine etc. best thing to do is go to gsf or somewhere and check the part numbers to see if they're the same, but when i replaced my downpipe it was a mkII golf one that they used.
-
maybe sounds like a hole in the manifold or downpipe, or it has come loose due to rust - if you can get underneath it to have a look it should help.
-
Don't say that - i'm only 4 years younger than you! I think i pay 510 fully comp but no protected 6 years ncb. which is ok, considering i used to pay 7-800 on my astra gsi. i think the price has a lot to do with how much excess you're willing to pay.
-
Cripes! you need confused.com! :) is it all the mods you got, or just no ncb?
-
The ladies who drove it weren't bad either, but not sure about the spoiler on the nose of the car!
-
What if you are swearing at the copper? :lcop: What if you're pointing at something? :)
-
Pet hate - bikers coming the other way on your side of the road. If my window is down i move towards the white line and stick my arm out, clothesline style. They soon get the message.
-
Italian Job - right at the start where the guy is driving up the mountain with the credits going on and then goes into a tunnel where he crashes into the bulldozer?
-
Yeah, its gotta be something like that. The dude in the 30k porsche must be pissed to be done by a 20 year old car.
-
Jeez, that Mk1 Golf can shift some, it annihilates the supra and porker.
-
Ouch, that's nasty. 4 exhausts?!? Car featured in Max Power - says it all!
-
No, its not something wrong, but I wouldn't recommend making a habit of it. Yes you can get it into neutral very easily, but getting it back in gear is much harder without the clutch. As to what can be done to make it less of a porridge stirrer, my knowledge doesn't extend that far. Sorry!

Fnar fnar. :norty:
-
Gran Torino = granny mobile! I think it was only grannies who bought it till S+H came along? IIRC that's what David Soul said on Top Gear.
-
Yeah, but not much, its a bad habit to be into. Any pressure is bad pressure. I still do it as well, so its not like I'm preaching.
-
Ditto  That's what it reminds me of! Thanks, its been driving me nuts!
