Well, having the charger I thought I might go for a larger bore than the OEM system, but I still have a few queries about that. What's the best size to go for and would it be better to get a 6 branch manifold at the same time? What about cat issues when it comes to MOT time? I'm assuming my old cat won't fit due to increased bore size, so where would I get another from without paying through the nose? Thanks.

Very nice matey, should look like new pretty soon. Are you sticking with the original colour or going for something radical?
-
Is it on the pie-shelf keeping warm?
-
My centre box has a meaty hole in it, I guess its new zorst time, so what do people recommend for a charged VR? Full or part system and what size and make?
-
No just early ones with square holes for the switches. Or you could just modify your ones to fit the switches.
-
1.I guess one has a hole for the switch and the other a hole for the handle. 2.No, leccy windows came on early cars too.

Got one from Banan0r when he spotted my car yesterday outside a garage. Its just a shame I haven't had it since Wednesday.

Hello mate, have a butchers at this it may give you a better idea of what you might need to look at or replace for your fans. Definitive VR6 Cooling Thread

Er, not so sure. I really like the steely on Sonicriot13's G60, but I dunno about this. I think its the black on blue, it doesn't quite look right to me. Do you have any shots of them unblacked and on the car? Yeah but no but yeah but no.

Oh dude, don't do it! After what happened with the V9, for you to move on to the 24v and then sell so soon. :( I do understand the situation you are in though, I also split with a long term gf when I was 25 and had to do the whole parents thing. Its why I now live in London instead of Southampton, so some good came from it. I'm 29 now and I still don't own my own gaff, I rent a room from a mate (helping him pay his mortgage which I'm OK with). I was thinking of buying recently too but have decided to put it on hiatus while the economy and the housing market decides what it wants to do. Do you have any mates you could do a flatshare with or maybe buy together? I remember you saying you maybe wanted to move to London, well you better start saving if you want to buy anything reasonable mate, prices here are unbelievable. :camp: But basically I think you should hold off for a while, give it 6 months or so for you to see what situation you are in. Don't rush into selling all your stuff in desperation to move out and if you don't want to run the C you could always SORN it and save yourself some more money whilst still holding onto your toy. If you still need the cash later on then sell it, I reckon being a 24v it will hold onto its value. My 2p.

Now there's a dodgy cockney fool. No way dude! The first series of new TG was cringeworthy whenever that guy was in it, he didn't gel with Hammond or Clarkson and ended up being talked over. Oh and forget Goffey and Woolard, what about Rippon and Edmunds?

There is no smiley that can express the feelings I am having right now. That thing is a travesty. If we see it in Germany a stealth bombing mission might have to occur. Is it me or does the back not quite line up right with the front?

 i like this thread, dunno why. no offence of course.

If you want to know how a car drives, watch 5th Gear. If you want to know how it compares to a weasel drinking mayonnaise then watch Top Gear. VBH ftw. :luvlove:

All of those cars save the RX-8 are big engined versions of normal cars whereas yours was only ever designed as a sports car. That should count for quite a lot. Plus the C was designed 20 years ago!

Aside from the rain thing, also it gets like an oven after 5 minutes of sunshine. Yeah, never understood that.

Hey, blame Wikipedia!

That's really cool, but 130 odd pieces! :pale: We need to find a euro company that does a V6, all the yanks care about is their 8s. I also like the coffee cup stirling engine, but I went to Wikipedia and the photo they have used is quite rude! 250px-BetaStirlingTG4web.jpg[/attachment:n8ogz937] Cut away diagram of a rhombic drive beta configuration Stirling engine design. Pink - Hot cylinder wall Dark grey - Cold cylinder wall (with coolant inlet and outlet pipes in yellow) Dark green - Thermal insulation separating the two cylinder ends Light green - Displacer piston Dark blue - Power piston Light blue - Linkage crank and flywheels Not shown: external heat-source, and external heat-sinks. In this design the displacer piston is constructed without a purpose built regenerator.

if you pop off the plastic cap there is a nut you can loosen, then you can move the wiper up a bit and tighten it back up again. no more scraped bonnet. i hate the fact the rain drips inside when you have the window open and brake. and the seats kill my back.

 Stop looking down your pants. :D Does it only happen in first gear? edit - just read it happens in reverse too. d'oh.

Keeping low on fuel for better performance ?

I subscribe to this school of thought, but with the way petrol prices have been shooting up recently it may make more sense to fill it up before it goes up! -
Could be a number of things really, but take a look at this thread about adjusting the linkage - i don't think you have the specific problem I had but there's loads of pics and info in it about other stuff, it may help. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=70164 If it doesn't then you can rule it out!
