yeah i think i go for just the standard one my car is stock pretty much have u heard of LUK? couple of hours work u rekon to fit clutch? cheers for your input mate

i dnt think there much apart from 30% uprated but nearly 50% more in price

nah, like I said I have use of all the gears, but just not a speed. I think it the clutch but deciding between black diamond and sachs one? any one got any views on either of these?

Hi, i was driving and went to change from 2nd to 3rd doing 35mph and car started to slow down and it was red lining!!!!!!!!!!! it was ok after I slowed down and i wacked it into 2nd and carried on fine but as soon as I go faster the thing just revs free!!! if any one could advise me were the problem is and what it is i would be grateful. I have use of all the gears but just not at speed. any help with be great Cheers muks

i had a go at mine 2day and found out its a faulty control cable when i turn to hot it does not push the adjuster all the away but when i tried it with my finger it works so for now i have left it hot for now. Does anyone know how to replace the cable? from what i saw it didnt look like an easy task?? cheers muks

My heaters have decided to take the winter off!!! all the directions work fine i.e windscreen and foot wells but the heat has just gone and dont know were to start looking any one got any tips on wat to check?? cheers Muks

has anyone got a head unit that is i-personalize? it basically lets you down load all your settings for the head unit with time correction etc??? I am aving a bit of trouble of putting the downloaded data on to the head unit does any one use it and can advise what i am doing wrong?? it doesnt seem to find the data maybe there is a special process? or does it require certain CDs that you need to use? My coz lives in hastings hes got a h plate two tone one, i am in brighon got a black 16v few other live around burgess hill and crawley area too i have seen quite a few in the sussex area to be honest but i think there is more floting around london and midlands. We should organise a meet for the sussex ones but the weather now it no so good so organising a time and place could be a problem but lets see what happens with this sunday thing that banaman is trying to sort out. I am looking to get some suspension after going to inters and seeing all the phat motors up there!!! I dnt want to spend too much as i dnt use it for track days or anything like that but i do want a good ride. I am considering the FK Highsport kit cost around £460inc vat, does anyone have this kit on there motor? and would they recommend it? or is there another kit which is as good for similar price or a little more? need to get one asap.. I am on my second pair of Uniroyal Rainsport 1, i think these are ment to be best on the wet?? not sure but the ratings were good and i find them grip well. Cost 120 each so they aint cheap but i was considering on toyo but stuck with the uniroyals Muks 16v

The black corrado looks the nutts it was on the cover of PVW few months ago and then later for sale around £4000 WTF??? lol i thought that was a bit cheap as the owner had done loads of mods to the car, the grey one looks nice too (8vg60) well done mate!! ps how low is your car? and what rims are they? hi my mate is looking to buy a corrado, its a M reg 2.0 16v however the rear seats are not right? ie there is no middle section for the first aid box so effectively the rear seats can fit three people???? what is going on i thought the corrado its a four seater? that what insurers list it as and the log books?? or is it that the car has been modded? and is this legal?? any replys much appriciated Cheers Muks

I was doing 120mph on M1 3 weeks ago (whoops i didnt say that) :shock: with 4 people and full boot, but with just a few people in the car you should get between to 125 -130 depending on the condition of the engine? as for the sunroof closing with the key? i didnt actually find out that you could close the windows buy just turning the key untill about a month ago :) and my sunroof doent close either? so it may need another relay or sumthing and might of been a standard feature on the VR6? not sure though or mine is broken too :cry:

I'd go with the seats!!!!! £500 aint much to make the 16v feel much diffrence + it will drink more fuel so i say go for the seats to make it a better comfort ride!!! 8)

How about skimming the head? i dne this on my nova to increase pressure, not to sure if it helps on 16v? just a thought? :roll:

Hi there, if you havent already done so, you can drill the airbox to imporve cold air flow?? Coz its a k-jet engine there is not many aftermarket air filters avalible, i would save your money and do another mod. Cheers Muks

I think it looks good, just dnt got to dark as this spoils the look of the car but a light smoke never hurt anyone :wink:

I have a supersport system on my 16v, with a oval tail pipe looks nice, the sound is ok but not like a big bore 4. The rattle could be the heatsheild that runs to the air box coz mine snapped off and i just removed it coz it aint no use untill the winter. Cheers

Whats the best lowering kit to go for? i heard it may be better to go for a mix and match setup any ideas? what have you lot done? and whats your ride like? budget is round £400max so coilovers mayb out of the question. Cheers

i think i am going for a 50mm drop any ideas of which springs to go for? i may go for the springs first then shocks at a later date havent decided but replys again much appriciated :D Cheers
