shocks are fine, koni ta's, not stock . (just went through mot after changing the springs) its just the ride is crap !!

hi, i have just had to change the coil springs ( h&r 40mm lower ) all around on my car as 1 on the front had snapped, the new ones are lesjfords 40mm lower, the problem i have now is the ride quality has gone all bouncy and bottoms out at the front, i have koni ta's all around and have tried adjusting them up but they just dont give me the same ride. any ideas what could be my problem, ( not sure on the condition of the bumpstops as i was not there when the springs were taken off ) thanks gareth

oh great !! thought it was just a seized screw as i had an old metering head here and that one was turning freely, any ideas on how much a new one is, or if someone has a good second hand one on here for sale

had a problem with the adjustment screw on my metering head in not able to turn it, took it off the airbox to have a look at the under side of the unit to see if i could free the screw off, which i managed to do, fitted it all back into the engine bay and started the engine, engine fired up ok but for some reason now the engine is very irratic revving up and down (huntting) have tried adjusting the head but refuses to run as it used too i have looked for air leaks but cant find any, would i have needed to have done something to the fuel pipes prior to starting like primeing the head or something, or should refitting the fuel pipes been enough, this one has got me scratching my head now thanks

hmmm.... sounds like a place to start, any idea on how much ignition switchs are

has any one had this problem ? put the face into the headunit, switch ignition on, switch radio on nothing happens, switch off ignition take keys out and start again, still don't work, done this for a few times then for some reason every thing works fine ? i have checked all the main problem areas and all seems ok, could it have some thing to do with the ignition swith. cheers

is there anyone around that can remap my ecu( 16v 1994 2.0) i fitted an uprated chip to cure a flat spot which it did quite well also pleased with the difference in preformance it has given, only one prob it has sent the emmisions sky high, so i am hopeing that a remap would cure that slight problem :lol:

i have just put a set on my 16v, bit of a pain with the bits as i had a couple of wrong items but soon sorted out with a few phone calls :lol:

has anyone fitted a set of front braided brake hose's to their car and found they are too short, the kit i bought were off rimstyle and were made by hi-spec, what would be the correct length for these so that i can tell them when i speak to them thanks :)

hi all, got a slight problem with the fitting of a new arb, i had taken my old one off about a month ago to fit an uprated kit which i was told would be delivered in a couple of days, only to be told then that they were out of stock, anyway back to my problem.... i can remember which way i goes back on, do the drop links fit under the wishbone or on top thanks a photo would be good if any one has one, my car is a 16v 2.0 cheers :lol:

i have a 94 2.0 16v and that came without the rear arm rest, but now uprated to full leather complete with armrest :)

hi, i have been through the search and cant find anything on removing the arb, can any one give me a quick rundown on this issue :) i have taken most of it appart but am unsure if the subframe has to come down a bit thanks

the only problem that i have had with it was this week when i put the car through an m.o.t , the emission levels were off the scale :( other than that no problem 8)

that looks very good, will get some of that for myself and try and save a few quid 8)
