Looking for a working ABS Light part number 535919235 BA for a 94 VR Mine has fallen apart and is causing a few problems. Please check you don't have 535919235 AA as this won't fit! (although this is the one most people seem to have!). It should have 2 plugs going into it, although one of them is a dummy. Thanks, Andy

E46 looks lovely Karl! :) They sure are a nice place to be.

I think people are finding all performance orientated cars hard to sell at the moment, not just Corrados. A few exotic (read heavily modified) cars have sold for relatively big money over the last 12-18 months, where as I've seen mint standard cars sit around for months with no interest. It's a strange market at the moment.
-
As people have said, the Corrado does endear itself to people in some unfathomable way. I'm always getting let out at junctions etc. I'm guessing because it's old and good looking people want to be behind it and check out what it is/listen to it etc. I never really had any trouble from boy racers or 335D owners etc wanting to race. I know that if I see a Ferrarrar or Lamborghini waiting to pull out, I'll always let it go just so I can do the above. Since having the M3 I've definitely noticed that I have to muscle myself out at junctions a lot more.

When you consider the cost of the parts + the labour to get at the chains, £750 is very reasonable. I'd echo everyone else's sentiments about Stealth, I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Whoops! This turned up on my driveway last week :)

Ok I'll take it emu, pm payment details! When do you think you'd be able to send it out? Andy
-
Thanks Emu, I'm only looking to spend £40 posted tbh, I sold a pair of driveshafts last year for 30! (I guess you edited out your price?)
-
Thanks Neal will bear it in mind, need on asap really though! Thanks, Andy

Hi, My inner CV boot has gone and the joint makes a bit of a racket now. It's easier to swap the whole shaft, so does anyone have a Drivers side Driveshaft going? Thanks, Andy
-
Got worried when I read the thread title Bill! Will be good to see it with a new lick of paint :) Finally getting those wings fitted too I assume!?
-
Hi, I just realised that I forgot to say Thank You for the extensive write-up. I've had the driveshafts and associated parts off many times before, but never taken the actual CV apart. It's all clearer now!

Hi guys, I've had a whiny/crunchy noise coming from the front end over the last couple of trips, which I assumed was gearbox related. I checked the gearbox oil and the weekend and luckily all was fine, but what I did notice was my inner O/S CV (gearbox end) had come loose and spat all its grease everywhere. The oil feed line for the turbo runs really close to the CV so access is even more limited, and I'd rather not disconnect that. Does the inner CV have to come off completely to reattach the boot? I can't tell if the boot is ripped, or if it just pulled out: how is it secured to the CV itself? I hate CV grease with unrivalled passion!

Very true! When done properly a VRT is very reliable and usable in all conditions. Mine's running 0.9 bar boost and I've experienced no turbo related problems in the last 12 months/ 5,000 miles. As Jim said, if you mash your foot into the ground in the wet, in 1st/2nd, you're not going to make good progress (and look like a tit!). Looks like a very good purchase, welcome to the forum!

Corrado vr6 turbo gt35 - pics and vids up, more to follow.......

Looks like a very good build! Good luck! -
Be under no illusions, the Stealth route will end up costing you a lot more than 5.5k once you take all the ancillaries into account. That said mine has been super reliable (Turbo wise at least) for the last 12 months :) Contact Vince at Stealth and get a drive in the demo car booked!

Pending a couple of photos,I will take these, although I'll have to sort out a way of collecting them if you're willing to hold onto them at all? I don't mind paying upfront of course. Any chance of postage? Andy

Porsche brembo calipers and eurospec rear 280 brakes
poll250 replied to black dub's topic in Parts for Sale
Would you sell the rear discs and carriers without the callipers? Already have a set of mk4s with steel hoses on mine. Andy -
I must admit, I think I loved my car a lot more when there was a stack of thing's left to fix on it. I think some of the best times have been spent laying underneath it with bruised knuckles!
-
These are cheap as chips! I'd imagine you'd make double this on eBay easily just for the callipers. I have these on mine with 312 discs and DS2500 pads and breaking is great, with a lot of pedal feel.
-
I'll take it, cheers Kev! PM your payment details and I'll get it sorted. Do you have the o-ring seal too? (No problem if not as I'll just order one from VW) Andy
-
A brand new one you say... :D Are you looking to part with it!?
-
Anyone got a newish Crank Position Sensor laying about? part number 021 906 433 A Thanks, Andy
