The newer audi handles are a pita because you have to fabricate the mechanism, I fitted them to my Mk2 Golf whereas the earlier type pictured above are very easy and require no modding If you decide you want an early set as pictured above i have a pair still in a section of the door skin so a good body shop will have no problem cutting down to size swaging and then welding in

Hi I have a pair of brand new boxed Hella early fogs for sale they have been taken out the boxes and fitted with yellow Lamin-X but not fitted to a car, anyone interested ? I bought these in error, I have a 92 G60 which has an early interior, one of my fogs got smashed so I managed to pick up these new ones, bought and fitted the lamin-x then went to fit to the car and realised i had late fogs in my bumper :( looking for £100 plus shipping or £100 collected from Exeter

Hi my toothed supercharger belt went recently and also took out the aux belt, I stopped the car and it chucked some coolant out the header tank, I tried topping up but it kept leaking it looked from the back of the header tank. I fitted a new charger and aux belt and thinking my header tank was split maybe, I bought a new genuine one and cap. I topped up with G13, it took approx 2ltrs to bring the level up to the max line. I ran the car for a couple of min saw no leaks from the new header tank and no drop in fluid level. I took the car out for a run got 2min down the road and the warning light came on the dash, Opened the bonnet and no coolant in the header tank, no signs of it leaking from there either. I know I need to investigate myself further by filling it up again and running it up until the fan comes on whilst looking for leaks, there nothing obvious at first glance so I thought Id ask here first thanks in advance Simon

I'd have a VR if I was mainly doing motorway miles, however I love the grin factor so much in my 8vG60 and I don't do that many motorway miles so its a G for me everytime in fact so much so I have a 16v version planned for my Mk1 Golf

Well just me then with a Car that's cursed !! Got it back from JMR running really really nicely now. 2 weeks later it gets hit twice whilst parked, same day 2 different places& no details left. Then a stone flicks up and puts a crack across one of my fogs. I buy some replacements and realise they're the wrong type, my cars a 92 with an early interior but late bonnet and as I've found out late fogs

How many different types of fog light are there ? Is it just late and early or do G60 and VR6 differ ? Cheers Simon
