G60 CS

mine wont fit over a 9x16 Borbet A and 99% sure wont fit over any 15" wheel I was going for another set for my MK1 but I have BBS RS001's on that so I either chop the splitties in for a 16" set of stick with 280mm G60 brakes

2 this week a standard looking but very nice white G60 in Exeter and also a pink (was red at somepoint) scruffy VR6 parked up at Exeter University

As for your your system files you could always run system file checker launch an elevated command prompt and type the following: sfc /scannow or look here if that didnt make sense : http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html Sony's tend not to come with recovery media these days. when you first power up a new sony it prompts you to take a full system backup this would be what you would need to do a system restore. If you didnt follow this procedure then you will have to contact Sony who will charge you £50 for set of recovery disks cheers Simon

9a bottom with KR head and cams works really well friends mk1 golf ran this engine with the head flowed and ported and was seeing 180BHP saw off a few 1.8t's on the strip at Inters a few years back. If you're interested I have a brand new stage 3 KR head from Jim @ racepower motorsport

is the standalone oil feed still available ?

Hi Dan I'm looking at getting the o ring re manufactured or sourcing a kit where you can make your own if you're interested ? I recently binned an engine due to this fault, if left un treated the block face corrodes and you'll never get a seal on it. Hi Dan you can buy the cover plate on EBay I got one got about £12-13 the biggest problem is the O ring behind the plate, it's also obsolete & I've not yet been able to source one, am now looking at getting a "make your own o ring" kit

Wendy you're right about the rust the only way is to cut it out and weld in new metal as I found out on my Mk1 Golf resto

Did the cam sell with the head ? and which SNS chip is in the ecu ? 5 or 5.5 ?

Hi John unfortunatly G60 specialists are rare beasts now. I have had one for around 5 years now and its always been a pig. There's plenty of info on here and other forums that will help you get it setup right, you will need a few basic tools like a multi meter, a timing light with advance and a way of ready the air/fuel ratio. I have a excellent piece of kit permenantly installed in mine for this its an Innovate LC-1. As for the idling issues take a look at your ISV just take it off and leave it to soak over night in some carb cleaner or petrol which should give it a good clean out. When mine was running rich it turned out to be the Lamba sensor cheers Simon

I've got those Konigs (not the vw ones)in my C , fit was easy as they will fit on Recaro subframes which are easily available second-hand, they're not too high, not very heavy but are a very tight squeeze and may rub on the centre console

I wouldn't mind a pic of your konig frames I recently picked up a set of Konig seats exactly the same as R32 seats i did have them in the car on modded recaro frames but i think they're slightly too wide and may rub on the centre console :(

Autoglass just did mine, did a great job, according to their computer they'd done about 2500 Corrado screens in the past, plus they're giving away as et of Bosch aero wipers at the min so if you've done that to your Corrado are thinking of it might be worth getting Autoglass to do your screen
