This is mine and Im sure its about 5.3m internally (wish it still had the same filling...). Not really any room for a workbench but there is a little storage, Ive got the boiler in there as well so it take up a little space. If I want to work on a car I have to take the other one out. 5m internal would be a push IMO. Its tighter than it looks in the photo.

Interested to know your thoughts on the Mk4 R32 you had. I know the Ed30 would walk away from it but Im thinking of alternatives that have the right noise and handle relatively okay with a little practicality and was also thinking about Mk4 R32's. Don't need outright speed as I still have the RS4. Just something that sounds nice and wont loose any money over the next 6-12 months.

If I cant find a nice 911 in the next month or so Im going for one of these. As you say theres just something about them.

Std wheels back on for new owner. Picked up today. Sad but lets the 911 shopping begin, silver living and all that.
-
I've actually already have someone local who wants them in afraid, they just want to check fitment so I'd say prov sold at the moment. I'll let you know if it falls through.

Postage on top, generally £35 but it would need to check insurance. These cost me £1500 for wheels alone.
-
Amended the add with price. IT cost me more for wheels alone so Id say a bargin with tyres.

How they sat.

Selling the BBS as the car has sold. They are LM090, 7.5x17in et48, 5x100pcd spec as standard. Centrebore was Subaru fitment but now opened out to VW 57.1mm. Being 5x100 these are very rare wheels to come by. I bought these from Hungary. As mentioned they are in the factory finish condition so the barrels are in decent condition but ideally should be stripped and relaquered. No kerbing at all. Centres are in good condition. Caps are genuine black ones with red & gold stickers on top. I might have some carbon and silver I can through in. These are extremely light for the size. I would say 7-8kg so almost as light as std wheels. Tyres are 205/40/17 Kumho KU-39, I bought these for the A-rating in the wet and they have done approximately 500miles so virtually new. The VR needed 10mm spacer to clear the front (288mm brakes), I have 15mm spacers on all round and will include the front two 15mm spacers. IMO the best wheels for the Corrado and it looks so amazing with them on. Any questions please ask. £1350

Car sold pending collection on Sunday. LM's will be up for sale.

Open to sensible offers on this as there is a few tasty 911's that have slipped away in the last week or so.
-
Just keep going with build and repair the white one IMO. If its only door and wing get spares and repair. FYI I had a highline golf so OBDII and its was completely standard inc exhaust/induction and it was running 194bhp so the 2.8 is not really that much different. I doubt you would notice the difference.

GLWS, certainly worth that sort of money.

Thanks, I am trying to figure out how to keep it and put it away but sadly there is lack of space and lack of cash preventing that.

FOR SALE - Black Magic Pearl Corrado VR6
coullstar replied to 24V Renshaw's topic in Cars for Sale [Corrado]
Nice, whats next? -
Some photos from my phone of various other bits mentioned inc rear bumper paint issues and kick plate. Note that most of that is the glue from the cover, the corrosion is on very outer edge. The headlights, fogs and indicators are all covered with clear laminx as well so no chips/cracks. I may consider a P/x with something semi-sensible with £4k my way.
-
problem with them is the farm out the work so your never directly connected to who ever is dealing with it. Ive used them a lot and 90% of the time everythings spot on.
-
My 996 C4s. Sold to help pay for house work and other things and Im back looking at 911's 15 months later with the prices rising yet more.
-
Gave it a clean last night and took photos of all arches and the kick plate etc. If anyone wants to see them please get in touch or if you have any other question please let me know. The owner from 4 years ago got in touch and said its all wired up for the Aux gauges as well.

Looks nice. Engine had any work done at that mileage?
