this thred rocks as i have just fixed my possesed door mirrors by cleaning the switch as described in the knowledge base but i then had a second switch that i have cleaned but this time i added vaseline as stated in the how to . at wich point my mirrors and my windows stoped working . but reading through this thred i have looked at my fuse 14 and it has blown aswell. sorry to go on and on but i have finaly been able to fix a problem on my C without starting a new thred this forum rocks :)

lol not only are my mirrors possesed my electric windows have now started playing up. i think i need an old priest and a young priest lol

alex darcy sorry i have not got back to you sooner . the windscreen only cost me £60.00 as i have full comp insurance if i had to pay for it out of my own pocket i was told the glass was around £275 plus 3hours labour at £60.00 per hour .

ok after looking through the search options i could not see the woods for the trees so im sorry if the question has been asked before but hears goes. are the vr6 and the g60 calipers the same size ? what carriers would i need to use on a conversion for my 16v 2ltr . many thanks for any and all help on theis matter . adam

hi i have changed the sump and the sump gasket plus the oil filter and it seems to have stoped the leak will no more in the morning . when i was changing the sump the sump bolts seemed very loose and the oil filter just freely unscrewed its kinda strange i thort but any other opinions would be welcome. any how all being well the leak is fixed (i hope) many thanks adam :)

Hello as above i have sprung an oil leak please help. i have had the car around 4 weeks the previous owner has had the head gasket done and the head skimed . the oil seems to be driping of the sump but where the gearbox connects to the engine seems to be oily as well . could any one recomend the best way to find out whats gone wrong. i am thinking about first changing the sump plus the sump gasket the plug and plug washer does this seem like the right way of eliminating poss probs?

ok the question about what to do with the windows . In my time i have had to paint around transparent plastics .the way i made shure not to paint the plastic was to use copydex glue as it is latex based once it drys it goes kinda cloudy just make shure that their are no holes in the glue once it dry's if it has go over it again with another layer of glue . once this has all dryed spray the parts with your colour of choice . once you have finished spraying compleatly rub off the copydex glue as its latex based it will happily come off with a good rub. hope this helps some one

could the poor mpg on the 16v 2ltr be down to either the wrong lambard sensor or a worn out one?

having read this i wish i hadn't as all i seem to do now is look at the mpg and think 26mpg wish it was more . But with me being in love with my C i guess i will just have to live with it lol :)

looking at changing my bulbs i know the spots are h3 i now the diped are h4s what are the other size for the main's i have used the the serch and the knowledge base but i am unable to find this info as the subject says its a very quick post many thanks :)

yep they are well and truley possessed as i have just got a new windscreen fitted in stockport today.i have not had chance to look into why the mirrors would not work as i got a replacement switch of ebay yesterday and its not arrived .picked the car up on the drive home i fiddled with the switch and they worked omg i dont know what happend at autoglass but i hope its a perminant fix :) i can only cross my fingers and hope :)

As the above im in need of help driving this evening and my spoiler went up as normal then down as it it ment to then would not go up again even with the swich. i have an after market head unit but the car had a non standard unit when i got it and has not had a problem . if anyone can help fix the problem i am willing to travel to them im in manchester and willing to travel 4hours by car to get to them if any one can give me a list of things to check first please help . i have read a thred about a relay on the instrument pannel behind the clocks .how can i find out if this is the problem i am suffering with . as above please please HELP

hello you only need a cat on your car if it is a k reg and onwards as the cats became law on all k plates onwards . hope this makes some sense to someone :) ps sorry if its a little bit off topic

Hello before anyone shouts look on the Wiki pages i have done so but the info is not their the info im looking for is the size of the door card speakers and the mounting depth. also is their a Wiki page on how the rear seats are removed and the carpet as i could only find the front seat removal ho hum the beer has me again :)

after going to the local stealer i asked about lupo wiper arms for refrence on the price . lucky they provide chairs in the parts department or i would have fallen over lol i got to thinking on ebay people are are always breaking cars so i asked a message and was quoted £10.00 plus vat including postage for the arm and wiper blade. any one have any thoughts on this?

hello and once again i think im asking a question that must have been answered so many times already . but hear goes i have a j reg corrado 16v but i need an replacment front indicator and fog light (drivers side) but do i need the early or late ones and whats the diffrence ? thanks for your help
