  1. It's a corrado. It's best not to ask these things in case you find out for yourself.
  2. Took the words right out of my mouth.
  3. Cool, but that video is about 3 minutes and 57 seconds too long. And is that a white golf country in the back ground???
  4. Strong is the rice side of the force. Especially when it comes to 350zs. I'd have one but I'm obsessed with VWs. In case you hadn't noticed. For the money you can pick a used one up for these days it's an awful lot of car. Running expense is pretty high as it's insurance group 18 IIRC and they are quite thirsty. Well, most things are when I drive them.  Official figure is 25mpg average so in the real world I reckon you'd get about 20. Ahem.... which is more than I get out of my G60.... ahem.... Porsche? Even better idea. :D
  5. Id love a MkII but was taking into consideration the comforts that would come with the newer boxy brother :D i see a few of them around and when done right they look great.... definately a less is more car - understated blah blah blah + V6 4Mos are ripe for tuning  Oh yeah, V6 4mos. I forget they did one of those. Must be like hen's teeth!
  6. As the old saying goes "if you need a boot get a Benz". I just made that up by the way.... Seriously though some Mercs do have great boot space.
  7. Mk2 golf then. That's what we all bl**dy end up with.
  8. I clicked on the link expecting to fall head over heels but I'm with Jim on this one. Even with flared arches and wheels it's just a bit bland imo. The Bora is one of the most generic looking cars VW has ever produced I reckon. And I know I'm hardly one to talk when it comes to lowering cars but that's just going way too far!
  9. Well, that's good news that another has been spared from destruction. Guess at worst it would only really need a new engine. I'll pm you about the wheels so I don't get busted.
  10. Which is the reason why I'll stick to working at home.
  11. You've used up all your lifetime's worth of dibs on that G60! You have no more dibs to dib on anything, ever!
  12. "Design your own cnut"!
  13. This is what a dropped valve looks like: Unfortunately I have no pictures of three toed girlfriends.
  14. Imagine a pursuit in an R32. 8) Sometimes I do wish I was stable enough to be a policeman.
  15. Yeah, they're maintained religiously, but the interiors are all trashed (they literally live in these cars, plus once they've ripped out all their radios and equipment there are holes in every flat surface) and the paint ain't great. And they have billions of miles on the clock too. But admittedly if the price was right I wouldn't say no either! 8)
  16. You wouldn't want em after that lot are finished with em mate.
  17. I also have a red G60. It also dents my pocket on a regular basis. But I love it still! :luvlove: :luvlove: :luvlove:
  18. Sweet, it's the trim that I need. :D
  19. Keep all that for when I come over! Is it a black interior?
  20. :( Gone are the threads on restoring rados. It's all people breaking them at the moment. That's why I've decided to buck the trend. New clutch is going on the Golf in a couple of weeks (I'm not going to be able to sell it for much as it is) and then it's getting sold on with the proceeds going towards rebuilding my G60 from the ground up which will commence after the show season has finished. :D
  21. As much as I like the new Rocco I just wish they had just given it a bit more of a coupe shape like that picture. Looks better for it I think.
  22. Oi oi! :D What you are saying is certainly true for some cars and manufacturers but not in all cases. The manufacturer I work for is giving way more discount on the scrappage than it ever was before the scrappage came in. The best deals are defo on the scrappage with us at the moment. For instance we do a car that only came out January this year. There were and still are no dealer or manufacturer offers on this car and you'd be lucky to get a free set of mats with it to be honest. However, come in and see me today with a scrap car and I'll give you £3,350 for it against the top of the range model which is normally £11,845 on the road. Even on the bottom of the range we are giving £2,400 for a scrap car and that's £8,645. And can I just emphasize that if you come with a p/x that wouldn't qualify for the scrappage you'd get book price for it and that's about it. No further discount.
