not posted for the rado for a while.. new additions.. handbrake cover(courtesy of A1VR6 for posting this up to me,cheerz BILL much appeciated).. tape console... and got new mirrors,still to be fitted...

That's strange, I've seen quite a few recently about wishaw. A red G60 no plate G** XEE on saturday. I can't believe yours was the only Corrado at Chatlerault last week! i know A J it was a classic car show,and i would class the rado as a classic,mines is 17 years old.

today i brought the rado out the garage,shes been resting for 5 weeks,back with a vengeance! 1.removed snorkel from bottom of airbox 2.fitted a new aerial 3.fitted a shiny battery cover 4.repolished the borbets 5.gave it a thorough going over before putting the tyres to the tarmac got a wee car show in Hamilton 2 morra,should be good!

cheerz jenks,im efter them crystal fogs,but i think they only do them for late bumpers,DONT know if they will fit,if i can get a late bumper i will give them a go.i was never keen on the angel eyes,but i think silver carries it off,some people at inters said they hated angeleyes,but on my car they liked them,i like them!!!!!am gonna mod my old lights to go on the jetta,with a rallye grill!!!

i got mine from venom motorsport mailorder,£165 all inclusive,no wheel bolts though,and im having a nightmare trying to find the right set,i believe h&r do a quality set but these are more expensive[dont know if they come with bolts?

thanks troops, the car is now in the lock up, to get a thorough going over so i will check tensioners and things,need to make sure she is minted be fore going to e38 next month i dont want another breakdown 400 miles away from home again!!!!

hi borbet a's are 7.5jx17" with 205 40 17 pirellis,and oz super t's are 8jx16 with 195 45 16 rubber[now on my jetta]

fitted the new front engine bracket,today!!39 +vat and it was a poor fit for a genuine item,also a new oil filter!!

i will check that tomorrow,the noise has been away for a couple of days,but ive not been any distance in the car just to and from work,about 5 miles a day,so the engine hasnt really warmed up properly!

just a cam rattle,like if your in 4th gear and you should be in 3rd and you get that GRRRR,bag of bolts rattling inside a drum ,kinda sound,if you know what i mean :D :) [mini cab rattling sound]

ive developed an intermittent cam rattle especially when warm,car had a recent oil change,1st with fully synthetic oil[but only for 3 days],now it has semi synthetic 10 40 grade oil,it has been ok for 3 weeks but has started to rattle when warm,any suggestions before i have to take it apart???

some nice rados today at vagfest you know who you are!,mine was in show and shine but there was no corrado class,not even a coupe class...WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT!
