Agree with axactly what Henny has said about the Yoko's as thats what I have now. But before these I had the Toyo's and couldn't get over how well they stuck in the wet! t N when they did let go you felt it coming more than you do with the Yoko's. They are deffinatl;y better wet road tyres

My brother has an alpine MP3 head unit. He did pay close to 300 for it but it was well worth it. Sound quality is imense, and their are pleanty of little adjustments to keep your personnal taste satisfied.

General Motor Company. Not that far North, well just south of Manchester! A family run garage that have specialised in VeeDubs for many years. They don't mess you about, don't charge the earth, don't look for work (their busy enough!) and all their work is to an excellent standard. Highly reccommended :D :D :D :D Not really a performance garage, but for general work and services, you can't go wrong. 0161 483 3883

C & R certianly aren't cheap, but you do get what you pay for. I've been very impressed with their level of customer service and quality of parts used. :D :D :D If you feel want someone to spoil your car, then this is the place!! but it'll cost you :(

Went to pop the bonnet this morning and the cable went on me!!!!! Pulled off the fuse cover and there is afair bit of slack showing in the cable, although still can't see the snap. Both sides of the bonnet are still firmly locked in place. Is there some sort of back-up method to release the bonnet? ..and how hard is it goin to be to fit a new cable?

C and R enterprises know there stuff

I think I'll be going too :D May have to be in my mates MKII 16v though :?

Gave this a go last nite and was idling around 450, and then managed to hit just under 2000. Thats with a 68mm, RSR outlet and ported charger. Still feels like there should be a bit more in her though. :?
-
Cheers for the commets lads! I think I'll have to go for some. Was thinking the non-adjustable 40mm drop set as I have a couple of mates that have had probs with adjustables in the past. And I won't spend most my time thinking they could be set slightly better!

Anyone got em, tried em or heard anything about them?

I'm concidering replacing all my bushes. How much is it for a set of original bushes? I think set of powerflex is £160 How long will it take? and how hard is it? Whats the general opion of peple that have renewed their bushes, with either original or polyurthene ones...

I remember Leew saying that he had replaced the ingition switch, but the general opinion was that this was the source of the problem. I have just got a new battery, so i'll see how that goes.... And yes, I'll be up for a NW meet sometime soon....... didn't get to chat much yesterday, I spent most of the day away from my car admiring the others......

I'm thinking of putting in a push start button. Had one on my last one, and it'll be cheaper than a ignition switch i think.......
