There is a guide on vagdrivers for replacing the matrix without removing the dash: https://www.vagdrivers.net/threads/corrado-heater-matrix-replacement.19713/ Sent from my LE2123 using Tapatalk

Thanks for that. Didn't realise Sprinter sold them. I'll contact him on here. \Paddy

Thanks. I think that's to mount them to the bumper so I will need that plus the lens/bulb holder. Ideally I might be able to get everything together but if not I'll buy them separately. \Paddy

Hi. I'm looking to move my side light repeater/indicator from the wing to the bumper. Has anyone got the US style side lights for sale? \Paddy

I think you can plug the drivers door window loom into the passenger window switch in order to test.

I have 4 pot brembos on mine. Narrow track. I'm using mk3 golf 288mm discs with customs carriers. The pad is fully to the edge of the disc so no unswept area at the disc edge. I currently have d90s with adapters and have no clearance issues. I bought a set of 15" speedlines and I'm in the process of getting them fitted as it's not a straight forward swap. The caliper is fouling the spokes and the barrel. I'm still taking measurements and I think I will need 20mm spacers (less if I swap to mk4 golf 288mm discs as they have a larger offset) to clear the spokes. As it's narrow track this 20mm will help fill the arch better, similar to the wide track. To clear the barrel I think I need to move the caliper in 5mm, which will leave an unswept area on the outer edge of the disc. I'm hoping to get this mocked up over the next few weeks and then decide if I stay with the brembos or swap to the mk4 caliper.

Have you a lot of negative camber? From this thread the narrow track and wide track have different length driveshafts: https://www.clubgti.com/forums/index.php?threads/driveshaft-lengths-bare-driveshaft-lengths-wanted.155374/ So shorter driveshafts could be pulling the top of the hub in and giving too much camber. Which as MJA said would pull the wheel towards the spring pan. For ride height of VR6 I'm not sure of the official height. It seems to be 630-660mm from ground to wheel arch.

From what I remember, the side ones are only removable with the screen. Only the fill trim/bead is removable without removing the screen.
-
They are removable as long as the fitter didn't put so much sealer on the screen that it overflowed and stuck the trim in. Part numbers are in the links below. The sill decals and headlight loom are so good they were listed twice 😄

Not the best quality but hopefully you can see how they clip on.

Your corrado is amazing. Fantastic work. Every time I look I spot another rare part...

Mine was originally a 4 stud. For the 5 stud conversion I only changed the hub. Is it possible the 4 stud abs ring is deeper than the 5 stud? Would anyone have a pic of a 4 stud abs ring or be able to measure the depth of the abs ring?
-
Thanks for the quick reply. The abs rings are new from vw heritage(along with new hubs and bearings) and they show it's common across all corrado models. Abs sensor is febi bilstein 21582 (same as 1J0927803) which is correct for my stub axles. I'll see what I can do to close the gap.
-
Does anyone know the required gap between the abs ring to the abs sensor? I'm getting this error for both front sensors: 00283 abs wheel speed sensor 04-10 mechanical malfunction - intermittent Here's a pic of the gap between the sensor and the abs ring. ~10mm. Is this too large a gap?
