  1. Can you post a link to them on ebay? You must think I'm stalking you on ebay. I just bought the mirrors aswell. \Paddy
  2. Same. You made me triple check my order though because my total came to £16.48. I guess you ordered them with the backing plates. Thanks everyone for the links. \Paddy
  3. Did anyone go for the blue tinted ones? Do they reduce glare much? \Paddy
  4. Where is the best place to order from?
  5. Since you already have around 16 interested people you could maybe see if arz will give a forum discount for this part, or maybe all corrado parts? \Paddy

  8. Thanks Bill. I've sent them an email. I haven't seen any gearbox gears for sale yet but I'll keep a lookout. \Paddy
  9. Hi, I'm looking for some help. I'm getting married this year and have a friend who will be machining my wedding band from a piece of titanium. I'd like the titanium to be from motorsport; F1, Le Mans, etc. but I'm having trouble locating parts as I want it to have a German engineering association. I've contacted a few online sellers and haven't had any luck so far. Ideally I'd like a part from a Le Mans Audi, but I'd nearly settle for anything with a German engineering association at this stage. I've already bought a wheel nut from the 2001 Le Mans Audi, but it turns out that's not made from titanium :( So does anyone know suitable parts and where to source them. All help appreciated. \Paddy
  10. Thanks for the comments guys. I'm from Tipperary. Not many updates since. I was away for a month and haven't had much time since I got back. Before I left I got the battery temporarily connected and tested all electrics. When I connected to vag-com the only faults were related to sensors that I have deleted (n249, 112, sai, etc) so I was quite pleased with that. I also had a mate make up the brake hard-lines. I now have the dash back in (hopefully for the final time) to check that all looms are long enough and in the correct place. I need to decide now where I will install the side indicators and if I will run the wiring for cruise control. I'm also thinking of fitting an override switch for the rad fans, just as a precaution. I'm working on the headliner at the moment and I'll try take a few pics when it's installed. \Paddy
  11. What width wheels do you run on the front? wider wheels can make it more difficult, especially if the car is stationary. \Paddy
  12. Did you pay with PayPal? From ebay: "We guarantee you get the item you ordered or your money back" http://pages.ebay.co.uk/buyer-protection/index.html \Paddy
  13. Are you using tapatalk? Try install/reinstall. This worked for me. Are you using chrome/safari/Firefox? Try switch browsers and see if you still have the same issue. \Paddy
  14. There is a diy on the corrado forum for this. It's a good forum to join if your not there already. Edit: Doh. Thought I was on my local forum! At least I'm trying to advertise this one. \Paddy
  15. Anyone else having issues with tapatalk? For the past 2 weeks I've been getting "Oops.. Network error. Refresh to retry" when I try to open a thread in the "unread" section. \Paddy

    No rear breaks.

Does it still have the brake bias valve on the rear axle? You should check that it is open when you are bleeding the brakes. Edit: just re-read you post and see that there is no fluid when you open the pipe at the master cylinder. Sounds like the master cylinder :( \Paddy
  17. I got mine from here: http://moman.eu/corrado,225,0.html I think the prices may have gone up. I got the cluster and heater controls for the late dash. \Paddy
  18. Check the starter 1st as its the easiest. Use a jump lead and a short piece of wire. MAKE SURE THE CAR IS OUT OF GEAR. Remove the electrical plug, single red/black wire, from the starter and connect your jump lead (+12v) to the starter(where you removed the red/black wire) using your short piece of wire. If it doesn't turn over you have a starter issue. Alternatively, if you have a multimeter, you can check that red/black wire for 12v while someone holds the ignition key to start. If there's no power there you need to get access to the electrical connector on the ignition switch or the rear of the fusebox (H1/1) and check if there is 12v while holding the ignition switch to start. It will most likely be the ignition switch, so you should prob gain access to the wires from there. \Paddy
  19. You could also try these: http://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/index.php/cat/c97_Corrado.html I've got a few bits from them before including the windscreen trim. I haven't unwrapped it yet as I haven't got that far in my build. \Paddy
  20. They both only have 1 pump. The one in the first few pics that looks like a pump is the accumulator. I have removed the accumulator from my system as it was badly corroded. What engine was in the golf that your new pump came from? That new pump should work fine. I'm not very familiar with the 1.8, but someone else should be along soon to confirm. \Paddy
  21. A few pics of progress as promised. The last pic is of the BMW bulkhead connection with the cover pulled back. I've been working on the other engine loom the last two evenings. I've got everything labelled up and after a number of trial fittings I'm almost ready to start shortening it. I'll wait until I have the car running before I wrap the looms, as I usually find one more wire to run as soon as I wrap a loom. I also have a battery ordered so I should be able to start testing at the weekend.
  22. Best of luck with the car. It looks nice and original. Those alloys are starting to grow on me. First mod should be lupo/tt wipers. The originals aren't very good. \Paddy
