have just been down to pc world in southampton to have the laptop repaired and stepped out into the southcoast vw meet! i never knew they had a meet jus down the road from me. saw a yelLOW rado pull in as as me and the mrs where driving off in the..........clio :( typically the corrado's off the road atm!
-
saw a green c with some alpina wheels parked on the road as you drive into shirley from the millbrook traffic lights. was a bit disappointed that the only c i saw was in my home town after a 300 mile round trip! :? was in too much of a hurry to pick up parts from the vw dealer to see the flavor or redge but ahoy all the same

went to the isle of white to do some work and didn't spot a single corrado all week till it was time to return on the ferry. there was a two tone corrado parked down at east cows with a bit body kit and big chrome alloy wheels..........i was just glad to see a corrado on the island lol.

just had a little blip with a red k reg 16v c on the m27 just past the eastly junction, a shame that part of the road was so bad. good to see another corrado tho :thumbleft:

just had a cat 1 cobra alarm/immobilizer fitted buy andy at trim wizard, top job :thumbleft: very pleased with the alarm and the fitting. sorted out my birds nest under the dash as well. even got fish and chips for driving down to his workshop!

having the same problem, replaced the throttle because of the black box on the underneath might have been causing the problem (i think its called a photonmeter) and it seems to be alot better but still not perfect. good luck.

i would argue......but super mods know best :notworthy:

G-clamps work just as well

cool, will get onto that then. thanx. about to take a drive up to london and it seems to be blowing a fair amount which isnt good for the back-pressure i guess. the thread size on there isnt standard, m12 x 1mm pitch thread so im guna have to weld up the pipe unfortunatly. the MOT station will have to go sniff somewhere else

does anyone, know what this is. (outlined in red if you can see it) i was told it was a exhaust recirculation valve pipe and couldnt find anythin on the search. the bung on the end split so i was just going to block up the hole with a bolt and washer at the manifold. good idea??? -
the doorhandles are.......creative, to say the least :cuckoo:
-
you say that you fiddled with the wiring loom and it started again? so have you checked all the live wires for connection faults or shorts? i know i have alot of spliced wires and when mine kept cutting out i had to go over all the crimped connections. sorted now......on to the next fault :gag:
-
do the dash lights go out when its turning over? have you tried cleaning or changing the plugs?
-
have had my kr's (well just changed the inlet cam) on for a few months now and the difference is quite noticeable in the higher revs, like on the motorway for instance you can put your foot down in 5th and it seems to really pick up speed quite well. don't know about the 50mm inlet manifold tho, seemed quite boggy in the lower revs but was able to breath allot better in the higher revs so depends on yer driving style i suppose.

does anyone know if you can buy a throttle potentiometer (at least i think that's what its called, the black box under the throttle body connected to the ecu) separately from the throttle body for a 9A? and if so does it have a part number? couldnt see any details on it when i took the throttle off today and there is not much info about anywhere on them  its so frikin difficult trying to talk to the ppl at the vw parts store if you don't have a part number!
-
iv heard about this before, how does it manage to do that?
-
have the same problem on my valver mate, but only when its hot, will be interesting to see how you get on, sorry im not much help.
-
think i will have to get another at some point as i do love them and have obviously missed something here. corrado seats would make a world of difference, rather than the "high chair" of a seat you get in the golfs.it felt abit silly getting into the golf after driving the rado when i had both. how do the mk 1's handle compared?
-
much respect to his driving but as far as tv presenters go :gag: mk2's feel very heavy to drive, bit like the rado but with a higher center of gravity, they must have been some s**t hot coileys on there!
-
hes a cock with some massive balls, mk2 golf + corner@speed = death
-
search for easybleed kits, used this to do a bleed the whole system. very useful!
-
yes dude, this is probably the cause of my dodgy idle. what is the check procedure? is it just a matter of checking the earths and putting the multimeter accross the wires from the ecu or maybe disconnecting the lambda probe to test it?
-
lol, yes i expect i do. got the standard exhaust on there. the c running like s**t lately but havent had the funds to give it some tlc. would it be a good idea to take it to stealth when i can?
-
did you de-cat it? iv replaced two now in a year, being not cheep and power restricting might have to bypass it when i sort mine.
