yup its pulled the 2 brass nuts out the top of the radiator im presuming there is a plastic top which holds them in and that they dont push in from the top.

anybody? anyone at all?

not in car but i spyed "Ugly Bloke" at santa pod on the weekend of big bang in his commentator box. in a couple of the pics i have from the strip i can see you in there! lol

ok so car was upto temp and i was waiting for my mate to come out of his house, goto temp where fans kick in and it turns out he was at his missus's house whjich is just up the street!. so i set off and give it some teddy then BANG! and loads of misfiring and nasty noises, manage to limp it to his gf's house open the bonnet and there is steam everywhere. turns out the elbow on the top hos has popped off with the 2 brass nuts attatched to it. stuffed it back in and filled her back up with water and she is ok now if im gentle(havent given it any causeit will just pop off again) is this a new radiator job or a new elbow? Cheers!

its a front o/s wheel, its just strange, its only just started doing it and if its from when the bearing was replaced that would of been nearly a year ago!! lol

ok so the story goes. the car was making a weird noise. shook on the wheel and the wheel wobbled a weeny bit, took wheel of everything was steady. could only put it down to hub nut. and yes it was. tightened it up and went to VW to get a new one. all i can presume is that when its had bearings done they have used the old hub nut and its dump. so put new one on and again its started to come loose again. tightenend it back up today used a torque wrench last time but didnt have one today so have just done it tight! lol. should there be a split pin through the stub axle to stop this happening? any other ideaS?
