  1. I think they're more likely to be hybrid. Although I can't remember why I bought them.
  2. I was clearing out my Corrado and VAG parts store today, and found a set of new mk2 golf gear linkage bushes, and also the white plastic dish thing for the bottom of the gearstick! Happy days.
  3. Here's my list of stuff up on the bay at the mo: Clicky! Still to add: -4cyl hub OS -front 280 calipers - good -front 280 calipers - rebuild -front wiper mech with motor for corrado -KR crankcase breather -KR misc hoses/pipes -KR rocker cover -KR upper cambelt cover -Late UJ joints -Cross Member -Non PAS rad support panel -hybrid hubs (4-stud with VR carriers)
  4. Yeah I think so MJ. God knows why I bought these, but it's all coming back to me now! I guess maybe for a sleeper look - keeping 4-stud wheels with VR chassis/suspension?
  5. Amazing!! I love the build, and finding an easy-to-fix job on a Corrado is cause for celebration! :D
  6. Ok, so I found these hubs in my pile of stuff to sell. I only just saw that they have VR style LBJ fittings....but they're also 4stud....confused? Yeah, me too! IIRC, I think these must have been hubs I bought which had 4-stud bearing section, but the rest from a VR6 hence the difference in LBJ. I guess at some time I was planning to run VR6 lower front suspension on the Plum! If someone could confirm I'm right that would help the description of my Ebay ad! :D Cheers
  7. yeah as the beastie boy said, there's one below the brake servo and one on the other side which attaches to the gearbox.
  8. Which bolts are they in this picture?
  9. just 4 K-jetronic injectors, the 5th has its own housing and I think you'll need to find one separately.
  10. yeah sounds like at least one of your mounts have let go. It happened to me once, but I heard a loud DONK as the engine landed again, which is a clear sign of what was happening. Sounds like yours has been happening for a while, and all the mounts are slowly going now unless they all went at the same time.
  11. I have a wing you can have, in that gunmetal grey colour. It's in VGC.
  12. i need pics of this clowns nose thing.
  13. Gearshift? I'm confused. Ok, I'll talk to my regular electrowizard and see if he can understand all that voodoo nonsense for me :) ---------- Post added at 11:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:45 PM ---------- Oh the linkages. I get you now! Well I know the bushes are perishing because I checked them. It would be a nice preventative thing, but I think the clutch is definitely a priority at the mo :s
  14. you have to lie upside down in the footwell to do a lot of steering column jobs!
  15. omg, you guys are attaching clown noses to your corrados.... ......why.....
  16. One problem could be the fact you're swapping the engine in a Corrado. Most problems in life can be justified by this.
  17. My rev counter has got narcolepsy. It's official. I guess I have to wide into the wire and pipes by the coil and sort out the connections then :/
  18. yeah if you run rich for long enough you will destroy the catalytic converter. And they ain't cheap.
  19. yeah if you're running a 9A they'll be different.
  20. I've got one I bought new in box from a guy on here a while back, can't remember the name. It's been sitting in a box for about 2 years now. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get some pics. IIRC it's the whole underbody assembly, and I can throw in a new fuel filter too! Oh, it's for a 1.8 16v though so not sure how good that is to you?
  21. Same, I thought it would go cheap too!
  22. Yeah the ignition switch is another one of those jobs which is harder than it should be!
  23. what are the last 3 letters on the reg plate? that's a good start.
