Yer the orange light is on most of the time...goes off and on in an attempt to wind me up....if you push the car hard though and get the brakes nice and hot (I had them smoking one time 8) )it goes off and normal ABS is resumed...when the lights on however the wheels will lock up.... I was going to 'fiddle' with the bulb for the MOT...and hope that the car has ABS for the test...but ideally i would like it fixing because the car brakes much better with it.....whats the best VAG-COM lead to buy then?

Hello Guys N Girlies The car is in my garage having a new H/G fitted...However MOT is due and the ABS doesn't work How do I go about tracing the fault? I'm assuming the VAG-COM is a good place to start...are the VAG-COM cables on ebay any good? If it's one of the wheels sensors...How hard is it to replace? I can't even stomach paying for a mecahnic to do the work after the month I have had! Cheers

got a blue ex cap and all my problems have been solved....just need a new head gasket now though :'(

it was a loose battery terminal....however....i think th head gasket has just gone... :(

Intermittent killing of all the power to the the car coupled with the fact that it seems to earth out leads me to belive its a dodgey connector somewhere....just hoping it is!

nope weitec dampers and some 'unamed' lowering springs....it is low though....then im sat in the car there is around 10mm between the wheels and the arch....there 17in wheels and have really low profile tyres....cushy ride this is not!

Just wanted to know..... What are the inner rear wheel arches made of...the arch liners....? Most cars are plastic but i have a suspiscion that there metal....my wheels scrub on them...any ideas?

Ok....it cant be the alarm / imobiliser because thats inside the car and I dont think it would kill all power to the whole car... so what would, and make my car alarm go off every time i try and open it?

Nice! Header tank cap sounds like a plan as the thermo was done a year back....and this one is a bit on the tired side.. God i love owning a corrado, its fast, it looks cool and someone knows something about every fault it has! Cheers guys! will try that!

Checked the gearbox mount and coolant hose all seems fine... It looses about half a litre every hundred miles... It makes me loose sleep that half a litre...

Hello guys, I’m new here! I have finally decided to purchase a corrado vr6. I want to be part of the corrado cult! What I am worried about is the average mileage of a corrado is around 100,000 miles....and to get much less than that i'm going to need to spend more than the £4000 I have budgeted for one.... Will this mileage be much of a problem, I have heard that the VR6 engine is very good....but I want your opinion.... Cheers guys
