I ran on 18's along time ago now ! It was a bit of a Taboo even back in 2006 I did have them on a VR6 and the set up did work well for me :D If memory serves me I was on FK silverline coilovers and 215/35/18 tyres, the rear arches did need trimming back slightly, all tho rolling them would be better, I wouldn't attempt it now but I guess that's me just showing my age ;) Good luck whatever you decide on ? Dave

Hi all Basically I had a problem with my oil temp on VR6 constantly reading 160°c Everything else on the car is spot on and little things like this bug the snot outta me ! So I Took the clocks out today and the loom from the clocks back to the fusebox appears to of melted together on most of the white wires ???? So I'm looking for the complete clock to box loom, if any of you chaps could get in touch I would be eternally grateful ! Pics below It the one with the main plug for the clocks and there's two blue connectors at the fuse box end ;) Cheers Dave

Bit of a double edged sword for me this ! After a big break from anything Vag, I now find myself with a Mk5 Golf (daily) and a VR Raddo (3rd) I did play with some RWD stuff and a few other unmentionables !! And yet I never managed to shake off what the Corrado subliminally embedded ;) (that's a big word for a Salford lad) Anyway hope that Unicorn canters up ? But I know my raddo is staying for the foreseeable Dave ;)

Hey Rog Thanks for the reply pal Yeah thought this also ? But after removing and leaving the multiplug disconnected, and turning on the ignition, Im still getting 160c ! It's bloody baffling me ( So if the fault is after the plug ? Does this go directly to the clocks or am I looking at a fault on the ECU ? Tar Dave

Hi All I'm just after a bit of advice as to were to turn next ?? Basically my 1995 VR6 MFD is showing 160c on the oil temp even before I turn the key ? I've done the obvious, new sender checked for trapped wires and even removed and cleaned the multi plug and nothing ? just a continuous reading of 160c :( Any ideas ? Thanks in advance Dave
