  1. Tom, Would you take £40 for the O/S (driver's) headlight, or shall we cut the crap and meet in the middle at £45 posted? Josh
  2. Right - here's the deal: I want to swap some black leather doorcards from a VR or latespec car with mine (plus cash my way) I've got audioscape pods fitted to them, which have Rainbow components installed. Would come with crossovers and tweeters aswell. Anyone that's had these knows they need to be attached securely, meaning that removing them would leave a few holes. Located in Bedfordshire at the moment, but happy to travel a little way if needs be. Haven't worked out a price yet - not splitting the pods from the cards so don't ask. May sell the comps separately... Anyone interested?
  3. Tanqeray no.10 Gin - Bloody amazing stuff!
  4. Also need a late spec centre console- What have you got?
  5. Also - They fit in the back of a Golf Estate - Alnd my headliner has the scars to prove it! These things are bloody mint - I can certainly back that up!
  6. Must be in good working order - cosmetic rust etc on the cowling isn't a big deal. Centre console must be mint or as near as! Will need pictures to verify. Will travel to collect within reason from Hertfordshire - otherwise they'll need to be posted. Cash waiting. Thanks, Josh
  7. VR6 | Aqua Blue | Hatfield, Herts Price: £2,195 Description: 1993 Volkswagen Corrado VR6 Aqua Blue 119,091 (not used daily so unlikely to increase MOT til Feb 2013 No Tax Full Volkswagen dealer service history up to 96,609 miles (March 2004). Subsequent independent specialist service history up to current mileage. Just went through her MOT with no major problems - probably through the strictest MOT garage in the known universe! Two minors to speak of - one for a temporary exhaust repair on the centre hangar - just needs welding back onto the pipe, but I haven't got a welder the second is due to a tiny exhaust blow from the centre 'suitcase' box - I've repaired this, even though I could hardly even find it, and believe that it's now sealed, but the MOT chap said that because he could just about hear it, he'd have to note it down. Fair enough - Happy to be completely honest here! Has been looked after in the past by Stealth Racing and was rolling roaded @ 196.8 BHP (June 2005) with printed dyno plots for verification. Approximately £2,000 worth of parts & servicing alone, from Mir-Tech, Surrey in the last 10,000 miles based on receipts. Complete vehicle respray - November 2005 from Ilford Panel Craft (Rolls Royce & Bentley Specialist) with receipt. Work included deletion of side bump strips, rear valance badge removal and general smoothing inc aerial deletion. See pics. Receipt totals £1,600. (Ouch!) Other service highlights included genuine Volkswagen Denso Marston radiator (Jun 2006) and full set of new injectors (March 2008). Fitted with Toad AI 606 - Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm/Immob - verified by CarAudioSecurity with relevant insurance certificate (Feburary 2007). Under current ownership the following has been carried out: Full wheel alignment - toe & camber (STS Tyre Pros, Hemel Hempstead) New Number plates New Wiper blades New Headlight and fog lamp bulbs New Track rod arms & ends (both sides) New Rear brake flexi pipes New Rear brake pads New Rear brake discs New Rear wheel bearings New Genuine VAG bonnet cable New Genuine VAG slam panel locking lever (for above) New Genuine VAG bonnet cable locking nipple & bolt New Genuine VAG/Valeo heater matrix Full service inc. oil filter & fluid change / air filter Full brake fluid change/bleed Replacement washer bottle Replacement sunroof motor Replacement mirror switch Replacement central locking pump Replacement spoiler control module Refurb & refit sunroof mechanism Rub down and hammerite protect rear brake lines Repair small blow in exhaust centre box Receipts for over £270 of parts, replaced and fitted in the last 250 miles. Freshly refurbished original Corrado VR6 Speedlines in OEM silver JOM adjustable coilover suspension Along with bodywork touches and badge deletion this makes for a extremely smart yet understated Corrado VR6. All electrics are fully functional i.e. windows, mirrors, spoiler and sunroof. The car has a dark grey cloth interior which is in very good condition with only minor bolster sag on the driver's seat (standard for cars of this age). As this car is a 93/94 late spec crossover it has a late dash, switch gear etc, but with a flat rear bench. The car benefits from an extremely quiet, smooth running engine with no noticeable chain/top end noise or chatter. Pulls very well in all gears and overall supports the comprehensive service history including the Stealth Racing Dyno Plot. Without a doubt the best VR6 engine I've come across even having owned a couple of VRs Starts first time, every time even though the car is currently being dry stored in my lock up as its not in regular use. Bad Points: Like many Corrado's the front end is suffering from stone chips on the bonnet, front bumper and slam panel. Front arches are showing some early signs of rust bubbling. Some minor scuffs on rear bumper (corners). 90mm chin spoiler cracked in both corners, again, very common. Radio/CD player although original optional upgrade (SONY) has never worked during ownership - no real idea why - has power and lights up. One of rear coilovers seems to make a creaking/rubbing noise at low speed (currently investigating, however may clear itself in normal day-to-day use) I think it's the shocker that's starting to wear, but am unsure. Heater direction control stiff - but does just about move round between all of the positions - haven't got around to replacing the cable as yet. Clocks seem to take a while to warm up properly to show the mileage, unsure why but seems to happen on cars of this age now (same on a friend's MK3 Golf) but once the car is nice and warm, the reading shows correctly. Again, this may just be because she's not in daily use, but again, worth mentioning. Despite the minor issues listed above, the car is an absolute pleasure to drive and I would be happy to take any interested parties out for a test drive. The car was purchased as a long term project but however mortgage, needing to pay off the motorbike forces sale. In no hurry to sell excessively cheaply due to shear amount of work put into the vehicle in the last year. In short, almost every common Corrado fault has been rectified with replacement parts i.e. bonnet cable, heater matrix & sunroof mech for example. Deposit will be required to hold the car after a viewing, before completion of the sale. Cash only
  8. Hehehe - Really nice addition to the back end of a rado - and stiffens the back end up nicely. Probably won't end the auction now it's got to this stage. Best of luck if you decide to bid - could even meet you somewhere around the surrey area as my head office is in Reigate and i'll be in Mitcham on Monday. Josh
  9. Nope - it just bolts round the rear turrets - all done from the boot of the car - the only thing you need to remove are your rear speaker/parcel shelf support - then re-fit once the strut brace is in place. The whole thing shouldn't take more than 25mins :) Josh
  10. Trimsport rear strutbrace with all fixings and black parcel shelf cut £80 VDO vision boost gauge with adapter and approx half a meter of vacuum pipe, in SWG Corrado right hand air vent holder £60 VDO vision volt and oil pressure gauges (matching the above) in custom MDF/Faux Leather clad holder to fit Corrado centre console lower cubby hole £60 LM Plastics smoked Corrado headlamp protectors as seen on long term loan on StueyBs car. Can't get these any more, very limited production run. £25 Cobra Corrado bonnetbra - Black. Good condition. One tiny metal hook has disappeared over time, easy to sort £30 These are my prices - all are plus shipping. Not particularly fussed about silly offers - already have a ridiculous amount of watchers on ebay after 12hours, but as said - will end them early for rado forum members
  11. All on ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/mariojoshi/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562 Not a problem to end early for Rado forum people Located in hatfield, herts. 0781 555 3914 [email protected] Josh

    Rear strut brace

Hi - I've got a trimsport strutbrace with a matching black parcel shelf that has been cut in the right places to fit so it does not foul when in situ. Let me know if you're interested. All fittings included etc. Josh
  13. That bonnet's in pretty good nick isn't it Sam! ;)
  14. Cheers Stu - I've just managed to get onto the forum through the hotel WiFi Sam - sorry for being quiet - the PM situation was going nowhere fast and I've not stopped for about 2 weeks cos of work Does your number start with 07837 and end in 3? As I think I've got you in my phonebook and might just give you a call as it's easier. Josh
  15. In my opinion, some of the bits I've taken photos of are bits of damage that you'd never really see, and have to be very very picky to worry about. However, again, better to be up front and honest. HIGH RES PICS AVAILABLE BY EMAIL ON REQUEST!
  16. Right - Pictures (please click thumbnails to enlarge)
  17. Just to add my 2p - you're right in saying that it's a fair amount of cash for a bit of plastic trim, but yeah, virtually impossible to actually remove from a car! I've broken several! They are worse than the rear number plate surrounds!
  18. Ha ha! No naming and shaming needed, it was actually before this thread even existed, so there was no queue jumping to speak of, thankfully! I'm not really on the Z4 forums yet, apart from browsing the odd thread here and there to pick up bits of info - seems I already know more about the Z4 Coupe than the dealer sales guys (what a surprise) I can't remember what price was mentioned before - feel free to drop me a PM with that fella. Having said that - it's done approx zero miles since then..... ;) so I'd have to be very very very nice indeed! No more air con kits - i'm affraid - the chap you sold it too has now also sold it! I'm not sure if it's ever going to end up getting fitted to a car!
  19. Hi Sam - No, not at all chap! It's a very long process for me as I'm getting the cash together slowly to put up enough of a deposit to not be clobbered by the finance. I'm completely smitten with Z4 Coupes... so it's going to happen.. it's just when at the moment! Condition wise, is generally pretty good with nothing major anywhere. There are a few marks nearer to the corners if i recall, including one that I remember from production itself. However - nothing I'd consider to be particularly major in terms of aesthetics, or indeed structural - would just rather be honest - photos will follow that show all of the above. It's not had a huge amount of use either, since my car has been off the road for the past year or so! The Fibreglass gel coated underframe is indeed black, and although the full carbon version shaves off another KG or 2... I just couldnt be bothered with the hassle of full on bonnet pins etc. Price wise - I'll post this up with the photos, but I'll put it this way: Someone has repeatedly tried to offer me £350 for it (cash, nextday) and I've told him that I'm not willing to let it go for such a low figure considering that I could sell it about 7 times over, and failing that, eBay would undoubtedly bring in the pound notes as it's such a rare item. Sam - you don't need to worry about any of that bit however, as you're quite clearly first in line, and because we've done business before. I haven't been in Peterborough for quite some time, but my parents now live in Sandy, so I'm sure we could find somewhere to meet (or I could deliver with my work estate car if that's easier, subject to fuel etc) Will try and get photos sometime in the light, hopefully by the weekend. Also not in a huge rush to sell, but if it's ready to sell, and we agree a price, I'd expect a deposit that would show a commitment to buy. Will be in touch shortly fella. Josh
