  1. Lego is damn cool... But the thing i really want to build is this: Good way to prepare for building the real one someday :)
  2. Another vote for Tornado - but only when polished and protected. It does indeed fade like a b!tch!
  3. This is the one I have. All rear tabs are fine, no cracks - just some wear on the badge itself - as mentioned, it's been on a car for a while! As mentioned - good luck trying to buy a new one that looks anything like an original!
  4. I'm running 195/45/16s Toyos on my 8" Porsche teledials and they look absolutely bob on and are comfortable enough ride wise. Never had any problems with a slight stretch, and it helps them tuck under the arch nicely. NOT going to open up the stretching debate here.
  5. I've got one for sale if you want! Not absolutely mint, but won't be asking an insane price - it is 15 years old! Drop me a message if you want some pics etc.
  6. My girlfriend just ordered us tickets to go to Silverstone for the Grand Prix! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! She was the one that got me into F1 in the first place!
  7. 45 with a slight stretch is perfection IMHO! What width are your wheels?
  8. AS much as I hate to admit it -my company focus is still fun to drive - even though it is a 1.6L "Econetic" !

    any ideas?

Window control module lives on the driver's side rear door card if memory serves? I've seen the heated seat relays fixed on the passenger side, however. Neither has any kind of aerial - just multiplugs. Are you sure you haven't found your alarm control box?!?!
  10. You can't get hubcentrics in anything under 10mm I don't think 5mm isn't a lot at all relative to general spacer widths?!
  11. I bought a late one, 2nd hand - and it's installed in my car, so I'm confident they made them!
  12. How many miles has she done? You may want to consider having the head rebuilt as part of "The Big Three" (Clutch/chains/head rebuild) Might not be a necessity, but it's often done as part of the main overhaul process - the engine should in theory be pretty solid for a long time to come after that. You also may want to replace various parts such as the thermostat housing, crack pipe, sensors etc, but it really depends on how deep your pockets are, and the state of your engine in the first instance!
  13. Autoglym stuff cleaner and cream. It smells like horse?!
  14. You probably need a new electric window ECU then!
  15. Yes, absolutely can be done as Dukest says. Just need to take the battery out to give you more room. It is indeed a case of wiggling the rad around a bit, but should be OK. If you can loosen some of the slam panel bolts, it might give you a bit more room
  16. Do they come on once you turn the ignition off? Have you checked the fuse in your fan control unit?
  17. Why don't you drill and refit the backcaps to the headlamps to avoid condesation getting inside the lamp units? My corrado also passed its last MOT with HIDS fitted.
  18. Bwahahaha! And the item you bought wasn't bad either ;) Thanks dude :)
  19. Defo not wet - seems to have a semi circular shaped score in it.... I thought maybe it was just the top rubber bit that had cracked, but it's on the underside too, so I'm guessing it's factory design to allow it to move into the gaps and lower points in the floor pan?! If you can check yours and let me know if its the same! Other than that (if it isn't factory) it's in really good nick. Josh
  20. I think I've got a drivers side set of undercarpet (and the sound deadening) if you want it - Let me check back and get you a price. Josh
  21. Today...... I tried to start it after a week or two being left in the cold and rain..... and it wouldn't start. Fail.
  22. The guys at Bilstien seem to think that the problem is a top mount changeover and possible issues with the top of the struts not working with early top mounts. I seem to recall a lot of people using late top mounts anyway - so I'm not sure. Regardless - I just sold the kit to someone with a VR6 - so I don't have to worry any more. Still curious mind! ;)
  23. Agree with a lot of the above, that many filters are useless - especially sticking a K&N cone next to a very hot VR lump. My question (and slight hi-jack) is - what is the best filter/kit for use with a supercharger - It's a bit difficult to use a standard airbox with a rather large Vortech in the way. My kit has a large cone filter that goes down inside the wing in place of the char can - are there any other options?!
  24. Last time I took mine out to work... it overheated! and stranded me for a few hours! Kept saying to myself.. "Should have taken the Focus..."
  25. I rang Bilstien UK in Leicester I think!...... Simon was the chap. He said that the guy with the Corrado works up the road at Eibach now, so maybe he used to work there? I agree that it should probably fit - I just really don't want to sell something on the basis that it "should"
