I reckon these pics could be added to the buyers guide ;)
-
Yeah, but in 2039 it will be replaced anyway, so it doesnt really matter does it????????
-
Where the feck is that from? and why were you looking in the first place, may I ask?
-
Who needs a door when a good window will do? When I added my Lupo wipers to the front, I replaced the rear with my old drivers wiper, and it works well. Not sure what size that is either though
-
Dig out your ruler, or measuring tape, and you'll find out soon enough
-
Probably all be sorted by then ;) I reckon Coxy's playing on the time thing for those exact reasons, nothing to do with him being a lazy t*at at all
-
Not got any thing here to get it off at the moment, including a torch!!! I'll do it tomorow. Get out and have a pint
-
Yep, still got the C box. Whats the 6 spd like in comparison then?
-
Yeah cheers Just thought it may have been visible, I'll get me coat
-
did I say accelerator? CLUTCH pedal. DBW cars have a clutch switch, much like a brake light switch. You did say Clutch, and now youve said that ^^^ I'll have to get the cover off and have a look. Cheers mate ;)
-
Took a quick pic of the pedals, but the cover is still in the way, can you spot anything???
-
Not too bad mate, replaced Master, and slave, and also changed gearbox oil when doing the work, a lot bloody lighter than it used to be!! Cant compare to a Golf though, never driven one ;)
-
Supercharged Corrado Clutch, Golf accelerator.
-
Phat Clutch pedal, or accelerator???
-
Dont know, how can I tell? He used all the electrics from the Golf, as far as im aware.
-
If its the same as the VR then there is a wire from the top of the oil filter which can corrode, or break. If that happens then there is an open circuit and the reading doesnt get to the clocks, and the light comes on. Have a look mate.
-
Also, if I put my foot on the clutch first, ie on approaching a junction, then it doesnt do it.
-
What do you mean "installed" mate?
-
Oh yeah, its not a massive jerk, but it does make you move forward like a sharpish gear change.
-
I know it shouldnt mate, thats why Im trying to sort it. Its the same engine as yours. Any ideas what could cause it?
-
Got my Black ones from GSF
-
I never miss an opportunity to get mine up  Dark Burgundy Metallic (LC3U) Looks black in dark light, and Purple in the sun 8)
-
Im surprised Double-6s hasnt bought these yet
-
Right, since I had the engine done (I think anyway) Ive always had a sharpish jerk from the car when I take my foot of the accelerator. Its like taking your foot off really quickly, and the car jerks, just once, but in all gears, and no matter what revs, or if being driven hard or slow. I cant think of another way to describe it :? Double-6s had a go and felt it (oo er) and I also asked H100 VW and he reckons it sounds like the fuel is being cut off when I take my foot off, and then back on straight away. Does this sound right? Any help appreciated guys ;)
