He took a picture of the front of the cars and turned it into a poster, I have a copy ;) -
Stick a post on UK-MKIVS mate

Pain in the arse! Thats why I sold it. However, if I had known then what I know now I would have kept it. In fairness the only issue was a new MAF, which I got stung £400 for, but then it developed a problem whereby the acceleration pedal would go dead, and then catch up again??? Weird.

I had the fluctuating RPM needle too. Put your mobile on the dash, in front of the clocks and ring it. If the needle goes all over the shop then you may need to get new clocks as the shielding inside malternativel check the wires leading to it. I had some new (2nd hand) clocks fitted to mine and it cured.

Hi mate Are you in the RAF by chance? I was at Colt on 41 Sqn Stan

Hi all Has anyone removed wires from the lighting termination blocks before? Is there an insert/extract tool for the job? I have a short circuit at the plug on one of my rear lights (Leon Cupra) which causes the brake lights to come on when I switch my sidelights on, and need to change the plug. Cheers Stan

Glad to see another happy member of the club! Isnt it just amazing that there is such a HUGE difference between the 12v and 24v engines? You'll never go back now. Congrats :afro:

Cant you get a remap company in mate? Most of the major companies do mobile now.
-
You working with Tina and Elaine then? If so then you'll be visiting the same place I work in mate. Still got the 4mo and Cupra, but thinking of changing the Leon for a beemer for the Mrs and putting some more effort into the 4mo for me ;)

Hi guys, Im back to my trusted Rado mates  Ive noticed my gearstick on my 4mo doesnt really centre very well in neutral. I have done a complete brake fluid change lately, and was wondering if maybe there could be a little air in the clutch fluid or something??? But Im not sure if it would cause those symptoms. Any ideas?

If Carlsberg made Rado's they'd have made this one 8) -
Probably not but i've bought alot of the kit already, had planned to drop the engine off with AwesomeGTi for building this month but having doubts about it now as they screwed up a simple camcover leak on the RS4 and missed the low brake pads during the service. Not too bothered that they didn't do the job properly we all make mistakes but when i complained they had no interest in putting it right so cost me £330 at Audi on top of Awesomes bill for £250 for the same job. How can i trust them with a VR Turbo build if changing a gasket is challenging, very disappointed with them. Still doing bits on the C but as an when i feel like it but as with the S3, new toy is getting played with more than to old C. Go to PSI Tuning instead mate, loads better!!! Gorgeous car too matey 8)

Just got some info from PSI Tuning that if I bleed the master cylinder then it should sort it. You cant actually bleed the ABS unit unless you have vag com as it cycles the intrnals to push the fluid through. Its quite impressive listening to it all and feeling the pedal, but its not the nicest noise in the world. Its very mechanical, and you think somethings gonna break the first time you here it

Hi all First of all, its for my MK4, but I would have thought the Rado is the same??? If so then it'll be handy for everyone ;) I refurbed my rear calipers, and the shi*ty hose clamps didnt work properly, and therefore I lost all of my fluid!!! I have since topped it up, and bled it with an ezibleed kit. However the brakes were "extremely" spongey afterwards. I then found out that you need to bleed the ABS with vag-com, so I did. They have improved but they are still really soft. Do I need to do anything else? And what is the correct process for the whole job, in lehmanns terms? Really need to get this sorted asap. Thanks Stan

How about a 4motion then? Im selling one of those too for £3600 ;) -
Didnt have those issues on mine, but the R32 may be slightly different, but I wouldnt have thought so. I used Custom Code for mine too, however any decent remap should work, I think Upsolute can do it, and theyre quite cheap. Frasier - Where are you based mate?
-
Off the top of my head mate I cant remember. One has cable throttle, AUQ I think, and the others hae VVT. The BDE has individual coil packs but one of the others has 1 coil pack and 6 leads a la VR6 12v. Sorry to be a bit vague but I cant remember which is which. I do know however that the BDE has individual coils and VVT. They all have 204 BHP.
