Ive got a 4mo and its great! The V6 is just a better version of the original VR, I should know I also had one in my C 8) People think theyre slow, but theyre not. Its not quite as quick as my C was due to the 4WD bit it handles really well. Some decent mods for it are an R32 front end ie subframe, steering rack, etc to tighten up the steering, decent suspension and a remap and its excellent. Or if you fancy an R32 for less money then buy a 4mo and strap a turbo to it for £3k!!! You could buy mine for less than £4k, add a turbo for £3k and for £7k you have a 300BHP monster, with 4WD ;) My mate has an AUM 1.8T GTi with an upsolute remap to 212 BHP and it pulls really well.

Finally an aftermarket aerial that looks decent! What wheels you going for dude? You painted your engine yet??? :lol:

Im not getting mush help elsewhere, so I have come back to my fave tried and trusted forum again ;) Anyway, does anyone know if the B1 S1 lambda on a 4mo is the drivers or passenger side? Thats it TVM Stanley ;)

Cheers guys, good advice there. A1 the pads were changed, by me, last year mate and I ensured they were greased properly, however the calipers were quite stiff then too and theyve got worse so they defo need doing. I'll be doing it over the weekend so I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers ;)

im startin to think the rear plate surround is ok doesnt look as out of place with the matching wheels on an you will have to wait till ultimate dubs to see it fully hopefully i wont get laughed at! :lol: See you there then.

You need some fuller pics of the car dude, cant tell from those. Reckon the rear may be a bit ott though.

shame about the 4mo mate, but I know where you're coming from. £3k for that C seems decent to me, as it'll leave you some money to do as you feel to it. Also, depending how much you've got from your golf sale, you could stick a 24v in it :wink:

Right mate, got it charged today at Kwik Fit (£35 bargain) and they said there was zero pressure to start with, which I expected, but that they couldnt debug the system as the compressor wasnt kicking in. Ive just done a vag-com scan, only got one fault which relates to Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor, Code 01274. I also discovered that whilst switching to Basic Settings, the fans actually worked at full power, whereas normally they dont, they seem under powered all of the time. Any ideas??????

Yep standard tunnel, also has several other syncro features. Makes you wonder if VW were planning to make Corrado Syncro??? Im sure I heard somewhere that it was the original idea. Would have been awesome, but too expensive!! :(

Just been asked on the MKIV forum, as Im currently talking some people into buying a C :wink: and they asked if the MKIII stuff fits the C. Anyone know?

That sounds like it could be the cause mate. I'll get it regassed next month and see how it goes from there, providing I dont have a bloody leak too!!! Cheers :wink:

It doesnt go cold, thats why it needs gassing, well at least I think so anyway. So, do you reckon if I got it gassed then it may be hunky dory again?

I know this probably should have gone in the general section, but I reckon I'll get a better respnse in here, and it may help those with climate in their C's :wink: So please dont move it mods :thumb right: Anyway, The fans on my climate dont blow very fast. They blow hot/cold as required but the power is really low. The most powerful is when I switch it on to the screen, but any other setting is just really poor. The aircon needs regassing, but Im not sure it should affect it as if its placed on econ then the aircon side should make a difference. Anyone know what could be the cause? Thanks Stan
