Start another post asking if someone in your area has Vag-com mate, they may be able to get it plugged in and have a looksie for you. -
You rang??? ;) I have a fully rebuilt head from my dead engine with about 3000 miles on it mate, including cranks etc. Was gonna put it on fleabay but if someone wants it from here then I'll sell it.

Ok cheers. Will speak to PSI when I go back in a couple of weeks. Phil, that 12v thing is just so old school

Dude, I think I am well qualified to give you some advice here. I had the same problem with my bottom end rattline. I took it to PSI tuning for Andy Walker to have a looksie. He found that when it was rebuilt by a dodgy garage, they only changed 5 shells instead of 6, and it was worn. He said the whole engine needed rebuilding and it would cost in the region of £2-2.5k. Or I could have a 2.8 V6 from a 4motion Golf for just under £3k - FITTED!!!! and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!! 8) I would recommend giving him a ring and having a word mate. He also lent me a car for the entire time he had my C in. If you want to know any more, click on the link in my sig and check it out. Also you can PM for any more info ;) PSI Tuning is in the suppliers section, one of the best around ;)

Finding it a little bit difficult at times to keep the front wheel down and the car going in the correct direction  Whats the best way to try and get it sorted? Ive got lowered and stiffened suspension (Koni TA and Eibach springs), but the power is causing the fron to lift a little more than it used to.

Very nice dude, but not too sure about the topic title though ;)
-
Where you living dude? May be around next weekend ;)

In fact, check it out: http://www.custom-code.co.uk/content/view/315/80/ Now I will be impressed if its 220 BHP :D 8)

The chip is Custom Code mate, not sure which one or how much power though. I know it was one of the older solder chips. Im assuming its Phase 1: http://www.jbsautodesigns.co.uk/customc ... icing.html There are two lambdas fitted, one on each downpipe before going into the single CAT. The ones that arent fitted are the ones after the CAT, which Im led to believe are only there to inform you if the CAT brakes and then puts the car into limp mode. It also means you can run the car with a De-CAT if you wanted.
-
Dutch he would be able to help mate its not a problem fitting the CATs, he just chose not to on mine. But he did say that due to the lack of room and awkwardness of fitting the pipe he would need the car in order to fabricate a DP, otherwise the only other way would be to have a jig made up, but obviously that isnt really a feasible option (unless another 20 -30 people do the same conversion 8) ). You can always give him a ring mate.
-
Still to ring my company mate, it runs out in two weeks, so gonna try and sort something anyway. If they wont insure it I'll leave it run out and see if one of the other companies will insure me with this years no claim, even thoug its got 2 weeks left. Pain in the a*se!!
