The question for me after reading this post and the really useful info that the link goes to is whether to get a 2.0 16v or G60, I loved the boost, in one of them anyway, lol, not sure about the petrol costs in a G60 though :0(

It is through a dealer so if they don't have a receipt for the charger then I don't think they would know who serviced the charger, what checks are there to be made to see if the charger is ok, any? Anyone from the area near Gillingham that knows G60's that would fancy helping me make sure it is a nice one would be much appreciated :0)

Advice please? What do I look out for with a 1993 K reg G60 with no receipt for the supercharger service? Should this have ABS? Do they all have ABS fitted? Anything different to check other than the usualy checks and how can you see if a car has had a big knock or paint done? I don't want any G0, do I Darren, lol?

Other than being supercharged what are the differences in these models please, BHP, Torque, spec, etc. Which one would be good for a quick car and what do people think to ABS?

I travel along the London Road in Brighton nearly every morning between 7.30-8.30 and I keep seeing a K reg Aqua Blue Corrado, very nice too but I don't know who it is, so who are you?

Yes it is a 2.0 16v but looking for more speed :0)

I have just bought a car, L reg 2.0 16v and when I first test drove it it drove straight and I couldn't hear a knock or anything but I was told by the guy that there was one. I left it and went back last night and took it for another test drive where I still couldn't hear it so I bought it obviously did other checks and drove it all of 20 miles home. The car pulled just slightly to the right. Going round roundabouts it knocked seemingly at the front and I could then hear a squeak so when I got home I pushed down on the left rear and it squeaks. The ABS light doesn't come on and I have gone through this with Gavin, very helpful, Zak, Kur2y, very helpful too and if you need a headlight wiring loom he is your man, I read that if you put your foot on the brake and start the car you should feel a pulse, the brake pedal went down slightly away from my foot but I am unsure if this is meant to be a pulse. The temp gauge on the dash doesn't seem to go anywhere, the needle stays at the bottom but the MFA seems to work. Lastly, the PAS makes a squeaking noise on full lock both ways, I tried it when looking at the car in the first place but I didn't have the engine running, I didn't want to admit that, dummy I know. So can anyone help with what these things may be? Cheers, Paul

I am just about to go and have my 2nd look at an L reg Corrado 2.0 16v. Can someone please tell me if there is anything I should look out for, usual problems that these models have, hopefully not in my case or any of yours. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul

Just rang HIC, Fully Comp £511 with excess of £250 Had a claim in 2003, 3 years NCD, I am 36 and it will be kept not in a garage. I have limited mileage of 5,000 miles a year as I will be using my legs or other means of getting around otherwise, cheaper petrol costs too :0)

So, what are we saying about these cams then, change which one or both? I've been told both but now I'm confused, ahhhhh, lol

I have been told by TSR that if you replace the cams that it effects the immisions and it won't pass the MOT without lots of time and money spent. Please clear this up and is it worth changing the head to a TSR Pack A 16v head? What about the lupo GTI wipers, any good, been told not?

Very nice. Having a G60 in the wet has it's problems though, a lot of power being front wheel drive, word of caution, be careful in the wet :0)
