great work :luvlove: i think its the early valver rear axles that are narrower,mine deffo is ,

thanks ,, the wheels have 20mm H+R adapters to 5x112 ., rears are in pros which i painted the crome surrounds in gloss black then used red tint spray on top halfs and a good layer of laquer(or it fades in a week) gona match the engine plastics to the wheels colour and also need a vr badge for the front also in ford biege., glad you like :D

so heres some pics of my vr ive changed the wheels and fitted a 50mm front splitter as the 90 was hitting everything :D hope you like what ive done.,??

ye maybe my vr killed the 20v.,the red one has taken alot of work but it was a learning curve from start to finnish so now next project will be much easier and i wont ever attempt to do a full car build again as it just cost far too much ,, so the vr will have bits done slowly ,. so ive startted by painting my 8 holes in biege ,orderd 195,40s and have h+r adapters ,so these will be on by the end of the week, then its getting a little paint to make mint ,.and will make the vegas fit properly for next summer.,and that should keep me happy for a wile :roll: with the parts im selling i hope to get a nice mk1 that will sit in my new garrage gaining interest and will be kept standerd apart from coilovers and 8x14s if anyone wants the red shell give me a shout as it will be taken away early next week as im moving house(another reason i cant carry on with it) :cry:

as it says in the title im braking the red one :pale: i was sat working out how much it will cost to finnish as i want it,and i just cant afford to do it so im selling off all the parts from the car and will put some towards my vr maybe vrt,or buy a nice mk1 as ive always wanted one .,i will stick a few items in the far sale section soon.,

ive now got some H+R adapters for my merc wheels and a full metal polishing kit to save the skin on my fingers and should be a bit quicker too wilest i was trying the adapters and merc wheels to make sure everything fits well i fitted my vegas to the vr .,they dont fit as the top of the tyre sticks out about 20mm but these will be saved for my 20v anyway., :epicfail:

Got around 1" ish now all round mate,so with some hard graft its possible !! :tongue: thats great news,i think im moving house next couple of months and it has a garage so will get my car finnished over winter now :D ,not sure about red centres,but that dish has come up great keep up the good work :clap: how long b4 its in for paint?

that arch looks great,im thinking of doing this to my 20v as i need as much space as possible,have you cut anywere as when ive rolled the arches the the lower rear of the arch bends in as the top goes out ?? :scratch: and is that all from hammering or is there a skim of filler over that.?? top work on a great car., :luvlove: and glad to see those wheels stay on a rado,i bought ashes vr but couldnt afford the wheels aswell ,cant waight to see them refurbed.,

great work cant wait for the next update.,is it running on 2.9 vr management if so how?or have i missed something :shrug:

thanks ,the paint ive used is a textured aged iron rattle can from home base ,ive thrown the can away now but when i get another i will post more detail if needed.,

ok so thought i would let you all know what ive bin upto ,.i still havent got much done to my 20v but i have removed the rear axle and stripped that down to a bare axle ready to be cleaned up and rebuilt with poly bushes discs drilled to 5x112 new bearings and mk4 callipers. thats it for the 20v.,as ive been busy building my mates mk3 vr (all new arches,sills,some smoothing and painted nato green matt,camber shims and rs s) this is it mid job all done now so can get on with my own cars., i got some 16" 2 piece bbs s for my wifes polo that needed a re furb so split them and have started painting them in textured paint,and will polish the dishes and got a bra for the burgandy pearl i tried to fit my vegas but with the vr having wider rear axle they would never fit ,and after fitting camber shims to the mk3 i didnt really want to do that to my rado,so got some 8x16 merc 8 holes that i will fully polish b4 fitting them but then vinyl wrap them for winter, thats it for now gonna get on with the 20v very soon as im missing the turbo :luvlove:

not done anything to 20v as im waiting for some panels to finnish the welding but now have a new daily., will let pics do the talking.,not going to spend any money on this apart from a set of rims,ive borrowed the leather and coilovers from my 20v and also the red rears .,

i dont think youll find them as they were made in 1986 (oldies but goodys) :luvlove:
