That's what gets me angry... It's their mistake, they should fix it appropriately. Send out the original order with a paid return shipping to not be a inconvenience to their customer. When the customer gets their original order, simply put the wrong order in the box and send it out. But no.... I was told the Peugeot's had to be back to them within 7 days or they cannot except them??? That's stupid.... I had to pay an extra fee to guarantee the Peugeot's would get there within the 7 days. I was refunded almost all my return shipping money back into my Paypal but I had to pay a fee to except my own refund ?? I told Joyce I should not have to pay the fee to receive my own money back due to their mix up. Joyce simply said no and that she has already paid me so much and that's all she can do.... They do not understand as a international customer I have to pay duty/ taxes on parcels. I did for the the first box and now I'll have to pay again when the original order gets here... No big deal I was expecting to pay the duty and taxes but not twice. This is the thank you I get for buying with them... No understanding or sympathy what's so every... They don't care once they have your money... I've bought many, many things all over the world without any issues. Mistakes happen and that's normal but don't stick it to your customer... I said it before and I'll say it again. I will never buy another Otto product ever again. When and if I ever get my original pre order corrado's they better pray there is not a flaw or defect in their product. Cause if I so much as find a scratch or defect I will raise hell and send them back and get every penny I gave them back. I'm sooo done with Otto after this whole experience... Waste of time and money.

Yes, received an email saying the Corrado's were sent out. But I don't believe it till I see them... Sad to say, but I've lost all hope with this company. Really disappointed how Joyce dealt with me. She is the reason why I will never buy another otto product ever again lol.

Ya I've been having issues with Otto also after their Peugeot mix... First and the last time I ever deal with them... Joyce, the lady responding to my emails is just rude like this is all my fault lol. I'm having a hard time getting my return shipment money back like they said they would when I was told to send the Peugeot's back. ...I should of just got my refund back then. Horrible experience. And I still don't have my 2 Corrado's I pre ordered...
-
Oh snap! Lol. I wish I ordered from dgdiecast...
-
I hope so. This is my first time ever ordering from Otto. Hope it won't be my last...
-
That is very kind of you! I sent 2 emails to Otto already, just waiting for a reply.

2 other members and I received Peugeots... ---------- Post added at 9:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:25 PM ---------- Don't know how they messed this one up? Even my invoice says (2) VW Corrado G60. Was so excited to open them up. ... That excitement quickly turned into anger...

They sent me 2 Peugoets all well... Not happy about that...

it's only a matter of time before i put them back on. Just had an itch to finally put the fog lights on, i've had them sitting here for 5 years... plus i was bored.
-
Thanks guys. I ordered a new switch. I hope that's it.
-
Thanks guys for the reply. Yes my fog lights work off their own switch to as well as the rear fogs. But they only work when the headlight are off. Ok so i think American Corrado's have a 3 way position headlight switch. Thanks again guys!

After 14 years of ownership I finally installed OEM working fog lights on my Corrado since Canadian Corrado's never came with real working fog lights. They originally came with dummies from the factory, fake non punched fog light units. So I installed all OEM parts, wire harness, relay, fog light switch and the fog light units. The problem I'm having is my fog lights only work when my headlights are off they won't stay on when I turn my headlights on. My question is do Corrado's that came with fog light originally have a 3 position headlight switch? Cause my headlight switch is just a 2 position maybe this is why my fog lights and headlights both can't stay on together?? And if that is my problem... anybody selling a mint, working late 3 position headlight switch? Or know of a place I can order one at a reasonable price?? Thanks.

Thanks! Yes they are custom made.

Quick Poll - How Long Have You Had Your Current Corrado?
Corrado911 replied to Yandards's topic in General Car Chat
Bought mine way back in Marck 21 1996. 12 years now....wow! -
Looks great! Nice stance, and i'm really liking the red around the wheels.

Great! Thank you sir!

Totally off topic, sorry...but will a G60 bra fit on a VR6 hood? I found a guy selling brand new one from VW (OEM) at a fairly good price but he bought it for his G60 and never used it, then ended up selling the car with out the bra. And to get back on topic...I think their great for the long drives :thumb right: ..again i apologize for asking in this post... I just didn't want to start a new thread for this question. Thanks. :king:

I have the mk1 Scirocco single wiper set up with a polo wiper and I love it. For years I couldn't drive in the rain cause my wipers sucked so bad. I know there is a bit of modifying that goes with installing the mk1 Scirocco wiper kit, my buddy installed mine. I'm very happy with the set up and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of doing the single wiper conversion. Go with the mk1 Scirocco single wiper conversion.

Great choice JT. I use to have a 92' GTI 16V a few years ago, boy do I miss it. But I had to sell it cause it was giving me electrical problems, and I really didn't feel like spending much money on it plus insurance was just as expensive as the Corrado. Besides that the motor was strong and the body was in great condition. I really wish I didn't sell it, gave it the TLC it deserved and stored it somewhere till I could afford to fix it. I would of went with the 20v since it a lighter motor, I think the vr is a bit to heavy and it would take away from the handling aspect. Great car mate, enjoy it and please don't make the same mistake I made buy selling it. The body looks great. Corrado. -
thanks guy! you guys crack me up, your too much! LOL i don't know where the phrase cam from. no "my cool" just does not sound right, but hey who am i to say? LOL
-
"my bad" is an expression. meaning, it's too bad I didn't post allot earlier. The coilovers are V2.
-
Thanks Matt, but I'm actual thinking of going back to my stock bumper if I get my hands on the 90mm front spoiler and the wing will come of too. I also have M3 side skirts and a rear upswept diffuser that I will put on IF I can't get the euro front oem spoiler. I got the air ducts costume made. Since here in Canada the Corrado's come with dummy fog light (they don't work) Something about impact specifications. I don't know it's pretty stupid if you ask me, Canada and there rules and regulations.:bad-words: I'm really happy with the Nuspeed sway bars, I felt a big difference when I put them in. The back one in the trunk especially, my car's back end use to give out under hard corners, but now she stays really tight and grounded with no sway what's so ever. The only way I could put it would be to say, "it handles like it's on rails", really. I set this car up more for handling, I would like to do the half cage in the future. Thanks, Corrado.
