Yes I know but I think its worth it!

I would get the supercharger conversion done. I wouldn't be looking for one with it already on because I know a lot of people wouldnt do that to a Storm.
-
My dad can hav a look for me as well but I wouldn't mind checking it out for myself I dont fancy getting one over here and finding out its a write off. I will have a look for one in japan but they don't look after their cars like us the zx I've got is one of the best I looked at and I don't think much of that. I was looking at the Storm on here for sale but I just dont like cream interiors.

I am! I'm back home in April so I will be on the look out for one then I think. The cars over here are just over priced crap! I paid £5000 for a 1992 nissan 300zx and its fast but theyre cheap jap crap! A nice Storm with supercharger is on the cards I think!

I have emigrated to australia and I thought I would get a Corrado Storm because the petrol is cheap and the insurance (optional) is cheap aswell. I looked on Ebay. No Corrados or parts which I thought was strange. I bought the Auto trader which had very little VWs in it again no Corrados so I paid a visit to a local VW Dealers and when I asked about Corrados they didn't know what it was! I don't know if there are any here but its made me want one even more now. Its going to cost £2000 to get one shipped over from the UK. I have a Nissan 300zx at the moment but its just no where near as nice as the Corrado I used to have. I need to find a nice example. Just thought I had to rant on that Australia needs Corrados!

The cheeky little bstard is saying I flashed him to go! Should have killed him would have made me feel better. The only thing that stopped me from putting him in hospital was they had to get him out on a spine board so he was going anyway. That bonnet vent took me 3 weeks to get it right no fibreglass job either all steel with a fine coat of stopper on the seams. My boss said to me today just think of the money, but no-one understands apart from everyone on here that I would sooner have my baby back! Its worse when I will see it everyday in work until it goes for salvage.

I sometimes think whats the point in spending all kinds of money on a car for some little sh1t to come along and destroy it. had a VR6 to go in aswell thinking of getting a Bora next V5 or V6 4 motion just depends on what the insurance is. was thinking of the Storm for sale on here but fancy a break from high maintainance cost for a bit

Today has got to be one of the worst days of my life! Some stupid kid pulled across my path and I hit him head on.The roof and pillar are bent so its in the bin.

I'd be interested! -
I bought the License for VAG-COM and that Adapts the ECU to the Immobiliser Im only getting one fault now and thats the Engine speed sensor but that might be cos its not starting. I think I have a long way to go.
-
Thanks! Yes its a CP ECU But fixed underneath the dash is a little box by the Spoiler control unit that the immobiliser coil plugs into and another plug that goes to the back of the fusebox
-
Ive bought a Late VR6 in a rolling shell but the Immobiliser box is missing I have tried using my immobiliser out of my 16v and swapped the transponder around in the keys but this isnt working I have used VAG-COM to Diagnose it and it comes up with immobiliser unauthorised intermittent then a code. Does anyone have much experience with the factory Immobiliser who can help

I'LL have one aswell!
-
Isnt the single switch on the EARLY cars and the two switch on LATE cars mines got later switch ('95) and mine switches either the fronts on or the front and rears
-
our place is good for resprays but it doesnt come cheap we use DuPont paint but its in Liverpool so its quite a hike for you as long as your car isnt going to take much preparing i.e big dents (dont count door opening dent along the bodyline) or rust holes we charge about £750 also undertaken are Audi door handles and TT fuel filler caps but this starts pushing the price up
-
I replaced the discs, pads and bearings on the back of my corrado on Saturday I used X drilled discs and Padgid FR pads and it came to £130 from GSF That price also included a set of front top mounts aswell the ABS rotor cages were easy to come off they just pryed off with a big screwdriver the only problem I found was that one of my sliding bolts had seized into the caliper carrier
-
do your brakes work fine other than the excessive travel? because you can just adjust the sevro from inside the car out a bit to take up the slack I had to do this when I put twin pot calipers on the front of mine
-
engine trouble....... fuel pump? what could it be? -updated
willmason replied to bighairymuppet's topic in Archive
I had the same problem on my valver and I changed lift pump it didnt cure it turned out to be the fuel pump relay was faulty but intermitent try your relay before you spend money on a pump -
looks like your definately going to need spacers cos your tyres are going to rub on the suspension 15mm should clear it
-
I have the twin pot setup and think theyre excellent mine only cost 60 quid but I had to assemble them myself the fella had bought new seals and pistons they also went straight on to my original brake flexis
-
Ive got the M3 sideskirts on mine I wouldnt bother if I were you there crap mine are coming off grtting oettinger side skirts well copies cos Oettinger sideskirts are 400 euro per side

Thanks everyone I contacted Scorpion and they say they left the fitting kit out when they sent it so its sorted now
-
Has anyone had problems fitting the scorpion backbox to their late Corrado 16v has the rear hanger got to be repositioned? Its the Boxer tail pipe if this makes a difference.
