Last week I paid £56 for some BBS Solitude's that were in average condition. Had decent tyres on too.

Had mine fitted today, freshly powder coated

Hmmm I dont know what yours would be worth. Not sure if it will help but I valued mine at £3700 when the insurers came to work a few months ago and they were happy with that. Mine has 134k miles, bilstein & eibach suspension, milltek and then was on awful 17''s. Must be worth more now its on the refurbed Solitude's

Ok so have got the wheels on now. They need some centre caps, waiting on some coming from Ebay. What are peoples opinions? I like them, big improvement over the 17s. Needs to go lower though

I do love Top Gear but yea I agree with you lot, its not a motoring program anymore. Its an entertainment program loosely based about cars. Hell they even admitted that themselves in the America show. Its still one of the bestest things ever on tele though

Ive bought some BBS Solitude's which are away being refurbed and I need some centre caps for them. Are they all just a standard size? Should I just search for BBS centre caps on Ebay??

Yea going to keep the 50's on, they are pretty good tyres and not many people make a 40 profile anyway. Took the tyres off at dinner today and dropping the wheels off at the refurb place in the morning

Well my mate Dean had it on ramp today, had a play with the CV joints etc and it all felt good. Ball joints were only done last week too. He took it on a road test, said it felt fine, said we will check it out next week. So me and Em went out in it tonight, noise was gone and car felt as solid as always. Weird. Anyway will get it back up on ramps next week for a look.

Not updated for a while! Since I last wrote in this thread I have fitted Neuspeed therostat and fan switch, made it run alot better! Its had new ball joints last week and also a recent oil change, been keeping on top of keeping the car mint. Tonight I have picked up some BBS Solitude's. Decent enought condition, got them at a bargain price. When I get to work 2moro will whip the tyres off them and see about getting them refurbed and then powder coated a dark anthracite colour. I really hate the TSW 17's that are on now so in my eyes will be a huge improvement. Plus if I get 40 profile tyres on the Solitude's it will sit a bit lower too

When I had car serviced in March I was told the steering rack will need replacing at some point soon (had it done at work so I know they arent lying) and tonight it has started to knock quite loudly, more when on right lock than on left. Those diagrams above are just gibberish to me (sorry!) so what please should I be asking them to look at 2moro??

Yea I would be gutted if I woke up and there was a Subaru on my drive :D
