That's the thing, "Great" is too subjective and open to interpretation. For example, I personally wouldn't put VW in the top 5. I can't stand any of the air cooled VWs, or MK1s, or Sciroccos. I don't see what is "great" about an ugly, rusting panel van with a severely underpowered engine. Same applies to Beetles, notchbacks, squarebacks, Baron Greenbacks or any other kind of back involving a wheezy, pathetic little air cooled engine, but some folk love them :D ! The MK2, Corrado and MK5 GTI are the ONLY dubs I like and 3 cars just aren't enough to justify "consistently great" in my book :D I haven't given this much, if any, thought tbh cause I don't give a rats tbh..... but two car makers who, imo, have made a long line of "great" cars are Jaguar and BMW. spot on bmw must be there with the m cars especially the e30 and my all time Favourite car is the e type
