Hi, Ive got a VR6 engine (2.9 ABV) in bits sat in a box that I've just had to move outside my workshop to make some room. It's currently covered over in its box but it's not a great cover so it needs collecting sooner rather than later to save it getting damaged by the weather. The block is there, along with crank, 6 pistons, cylinder head, timing chain covers and a few other bits and pieces. I've no idea of the condition of the block as it was left behind by Dave16V when he moved out of the workshop. It was going to be scrapped but I thought it might be useful to someone on here for spares. First come first served - it's free!! Thanks Tom

Now then, Apologies to the guys in the last few posts, I'm having a rather busy time at work at the moment and am not getting much chance to do much Corrado related stuff! However I'm planning a day at the workshop on Saturday so I will respond to all requests then. Thanks for your patience Tom

Hello! I provided the template for the European/UK version of this. The only problem is that I no longer have a Corrado to put one on if I were to get one! Is there anything that can be done regarding getting some credit/discount on some other items from the Trimsport shop? Thanks Tom

Whereabouts in the UK are you? Would be very beneficial to find someone with Vagcom to plug it in and find out what's wrong before you spend a small fortune on potentially unnecessary replacement parts!

Harvey, The bonnet release cable has gone unfortunately. I do however have the door internals - is it just the locking mechanism itself that you need? If so then I'd do that for £17.50 posted to you in London. Cheers Tom

Hi, unfortunately I don't have the pump, although I still have a couple of spare ECU's. Have you plugged it into Vagcom to see what faults it has?

Unfortunately not, the nearside sliding components on the mech that I've got are damaged - sorry!!

Hi mate, Funny you should ask, I'm a couple of days away from removing a standard system from the VR6 that I'm breaking. I'm aiming to get it off intact and would very much like it to go to a good home. It's in used condition but doesn't blow and should be good for many more miles! No pictures just yet but should have it off by the weekend all being well. Would that suit you? Thanks Tom

Hi, Just dug this out of the corner of my workshop. It's a genuine VW late VR6 rear exhaust silencer, complete with tailpipe and hangers: It has however been chopped off the rest of the system with a gas axe and therefore isn't exactly 'ready to fit' - see below picture: However, with a bit of fettling and possibly an adaptor sleeve it should be fairly straightforward to get it to fit an aftermarket stainless system (and therefore retain the standard look with possibly a slightly fruitier exhaust tone) - that was the reason I bought it however I no longer own a roadworthy Corrado so have no use for it! Just looking for what I paid for it please - £30 posted. Thanks Tom

Declan, How much do you need? I've got a 1994 VR6 shell in Dragon Green that I could really do with getting out of the way sooner rather than later. It's pretty straight but needs a bit of welding on the N/S/R sill. It's currently still got the bonnet, bootlid and rear bumper fitted, and a black carpet in. Would you be interested? Location is Derby by the way.

If Vag-Hag can't help then I have plenty. Just the price of postage for them.

Hi Mike, I have one of these, removed from a 1992 VR6 and in full working order. The only reason for removal was because I converted the ABS to the later type Teves20 system so had no need for the ECU. Looking for £30 posted. Thanks Tom

There's a crack on the bottom right corner, it'd be possible to repair but it might still be visible if you looked closely. If you wanted the pair I'd do them both for £40 including postage. Thanks Tom
