Hi, While digging through my parts I've found another item I've no use for. A front cross member complete with nearly new engine mount for a 16V/8V or G60. Part number is 191199201B. Powdercoated in black with a few small storage marks. Otherwise as it came out of the oven. £30 posted please. Thanks Tom

I've got a late bumper in dragon green up in Derbyshire. Not really what you're looking for I know but if you're struggling then it's here. It's in good condition complete with bumper iron and I'm looking for £30 collected for it. Cheers Tom

I'm hoping to have it out by the end of this week. It'll obviously have to be collected from me at DE7 6HB and I'd like for £40 it. Cheers Tom

Do you mean mats or the actual carpet? I have a good black carpet in a VR6 that I'll be removing shortly if that is what you're after? Cheers Tom

Sorry to say that these are now all gone. I have a few more sets but they require some attention in the form of seal replacement prior to sale. I'll start a new thread for those soon. Thanks Tom

Help Wayne2015 decide next Cheap, Reliable but Fun workhorse!
Purple Tom replied to Wayne2015's topic in General Car Chat
For your budget I really don't think you could go wrong with a mk1 Octavia VRS. 1.8T so fairly quick but also reliable and parts relatively cheap. Very good build quality for the price and plenty of cheap little upgrades you can do for not much money. 5-door hatchback or estate versions available within your budget and they're surprisingly good to drive. Very safe with 4 airbags as standard, nice big brakes (312 fronts and 256 rears) and they really do look good. I'm perhaps a bit biased as I owned a 2004 Octavia estate for the 18 months, which is the longest I've ever kept a car. Mine was a PD130 L&K estate so not a 1.8T but for a big car it handled really nicely, especially after I chucked a set of R32 wishbone bushes on it. I remapped it and fitted the same brakes as a VRS and it was an awesome car. Still going strong with its new owner. I changed it for an 8L S3 so I can also speak with some confidence about the 1.8T (so far so good in that dept!) Got to be better than a Fiesta?! -

Hi James, I do have a few sets left yep. There are no banjo bolts but as in the initial description all the threads are intact. You'll need mk4 conversion hoses anyway which will come with new banjo hoses. Cheers Ton

I can help with the 02A gearbox as well as several of the conversion parts including the clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and the master to slave link pipe with flexi in good condition. I do also have a pedal box but lilfuzzer has replied first with that :-)

Hi, Busy having a sort out of my workshop and I've got the below parts that are just in my way and of no use to me at all. Firstly, a bootlid in Flash Red. Completely bare apart from the glass and seal and in surprisingly rot free condition. The usual bit around the number plate light and number plate mounting holes but other than that pretty good. Secondly, an offside (drivers) door also in Flash Red. Complete with door trim, glass and working window regulator. In relatively good condition: Finally, a nearside (passenger) door in Midnight Blue. Just glass and regulator with this one. Removed from my VR6 and replaced with a better door prior to painting. It has corrosion on the upper outer lip and lacquer peel: As I've said, all of the parts are useless to me and I'm trying to make space so they need to go. I don't want anything for them but I want them gone ASAP, it seems a shame to throw them in the skip but that'll happen soon. They're also going to be stored outside for the time being so will deteriorate pretty quickly if someone doesn't rescue them. Collection only from my workshop in Derbyshire postcode DE7 6HB. £FREE. Thanks Tom -

Bump for one more set of 288's and then they're all gone! -
Yeah that's cool, couldn't be closer really! Cheers Tom

How urgently do you need one? I'm going to be breaking a VR6 that's got a pair of good scrapers fitted, but won't be making a start on the car until the weekend. Based in West Hallam though which should be pretty close to you if you don't mind waiting. Cheers Tom
