a good forum to look at is http://www.detailingworld.co.uk you can gain loads of knowledge there it has helped me on all of my cars the only thing i dont like about zaino products is the length of time the products need to cure even when using the zfx which allows 3 layer in 24 hours if you dont have a garage or leanto or cover for the car with our weather i would want to do 3 coats in 2 hours but i still might try the z2 with zfx anyway over a period of a couple of days kel
-
same here ive been reading up on the zaino products too looks like a good bit of kit what are you getting then as im gonna go the sealant route for the corrado rather than wax kel
-

g60_stoney got them from ebay they are where genuine bbs caps i had to take them to bits to get them fitted but it worked in the end i only put 2 wheels on yesterday for some pics i have not driven on them yet :( im gonna lower it this weekend and them refit the lm's and take some more pics then i might even get it M.O.T'd as well the following week as it was only front rubber that was failing it vornwend the fog and blinkers were out as the fogs where cracked and i was going to try to fix them but they where too badly rusted so i got some nice silver duck tape and thats how they are going to be untill i get new units nickycooke cheers mate

decided to post up a few pics as i go along sorting my VR i have fixed a few teething problems after a local garage aparently fixed it a year and a half ago (been off the road shortly after that dec 2006) i have fixed the following front left abs sensor the snaped bolt that goes through the front wishbone(the rear mount) :D nice job that one replaced the thermostat housing and crack pipe repaired a car park dent to the rear drivers wheel arch (untill respray in winter time) b4 pic below fixd pic to follow referb brakes all around replaced the rear brake lines i have installed a moon roof and have a set of bbs lm's(reps) to go on with toyo r888 rubber see pics only put 2 on to see how they looked on std shocks im gonna lower it with springs on std shocks to start with then go for a set of kw's coil overs later a nice person left this for me after a trip to asda one day To55ers a view from the front (indicators and fogs removed) standard setup moon roof after a clean up the bbs wheels look cool shame about the off road look close up of the bbs lm's with toyo r888 rubber[ will be lowering it this week end and will take more pics then kel

1995 VR6 drive shaft nut question + Sub frame question
millerman replied to rustyturret's topic in Drivetrain
i have done it but its not an easy job undo the sub frame nuts at the front and rear and also undo the 2 nuts on the engine mount (near side/ passenger side) this will give you just enough room to play with (you may need to use some blocks to push the sub frame down a bit like i said its not an easy job to do in situ kel -
i have the cash flow problem thing going on mortgage 3 kids the other half can use cash like its going out of fashion when she wants to especially when i spend money on the car as a result of buying new wheels from g60sc_stoney i have to get her a wii and the wii fit thing never mind like you said it might take a bit of time but well worth it in the end cant wait to get mine mot'ed and running again should be in the next few weeks as im really busy at work at the mo . kel

for sure not a cost effective daily drive now unless you have bags of money on tap or shares with all the major oil companies thats why my daily drive is a diesel bmw 120 m sport although my vr6 was my daily drive for 5 and a bit years and i loved every minute of it corrado for weekend and summer fun now !!!! :D kel
-
ahh the sea air is lovley it the rain you need to worry about sadly for you its full of salt and your poor corrado is a victim of it i hope you get it all sorted with no brown metal left on her i have some nice brown metal on mine after a retard hit the drivers rear arch in a car park stupidly i only getting it done in the next couple of weeks after a year and a half ago and although the surface is brown its still solid so im well lucky there so when do you think you will get the c back on the road fella kel
-
funny that, thats why i purchased my corrado i was going to buy a nissan skyline gtr v spec but knew i would need shares in shell and i also enjoy having a driving licence they are soooooo quick you just want to drive everywere at 180 mph cause it can although the corrado is quick it was a more sensible cost effective drive at the time in 2001 although its costing a bomb now but that is my choice on upgrades as garage bills have been very low touch wood kel
-
would love to see what they look like with gold centers like on a porsche 911 gt2 but black looks good i must say very mean looking kel
-
i might just do that in a mo your c looks really good in your avatar pic unlike my sad vr at the mo think i will do a members gallery actually from neglect for 1.5 years sitting to all tarted up back to a1 again hmm good idea i know a bit off topic sorry kel
-
so apart from replacing the bulbs and using a hid kit and poor adjustment these are a good purchase as im thinking of getting a set how much does that make the inpro angel eye upgrade cost ? does anybody use the fogs and indicator setup from inpro ? kel
-
looks pretty good to me i like the black rear spoiler whats next a carbon fibre bonnet ? would be interesting to see what that looks like on a corrado bit of a jap car mod really kel
