    3 month detail!

yes i think i will attempt to detail my trusty old flymo lawnmower over the weekend ensuring i use only the most expensive products !!!!!!!!!!! still if your only sexual outlet was a dyson vacum cleaner you would want her clean and shiney too would you not and im sure he waxed the end of the suction tube specialy too lol
  9. thats sounds like his best approach with out spending too much cash !!!!!
  10. best i can think of from halfrauds would be this list auto glym shampoo auto glym super resin polish auto glym extra gloss protection (this is a sealent rather than wax) megs quick clay kit (comes with 2 clay bars quick detailer and cleaner wax sample and microfibre cloth) a wash mit and bucket a pack of microfibre towels prob would cost around £50 sounds a lot but you could spend a lot lot more i know i have !!!! this would really be a good starting point you dont need to use a wax if your using AG extra gloss protection and this is a sealent and will offer longer protection than any wax sold in halfrauds, the super resin polish will mask most of the swirls as it has loads of fillers in it, the megs clay kit is really as good as any other mild clay you can buy . good luck and hope your arms dont fall off after polishing !!
  11. i kind of have this problem but i find if i pump the peddel it comes back to life and is ok so would this be the slave or master ?
  12. its sounds like it needs a permenent live and switch live (ignition) most new headunits do also good idea to check your earth connection the permenent will keep your presets ! kel
  13. i like the 135i a bit small on the inside yes but my daily drive is a 120d m sport (not coupe) and that goes well i imagine the 135 will be a lot of fun to drive as 1 series handle really well

i have the sx5 kit that matey does and it easy to fit and works well if you do buy one just make sure to cover up the relays to stop any water getting in to them but a good buy if you ask me

    3 month detail!

i could understand if was a £200.000 super car but a bloody vauxhall astray :D what made me laugh is having the car remaped and getting nearly 300 horses out of it and then adding 2 tonne of sound proofing (well worth it :confused4:) what the f*_k was the zorst pipe change all about saying it looked like an xr3i how many xr31's had a center exiting oval pipes  and then not happy it was not centered correctly and got his tape measure out and made the fella fitting it sort it b4 he lobed all his toys out of his pram think you could go on for ages about him really one of the pics of the engine bay looked like he mounted his mates pot of wax on it seriously who buys £10.000 worth of wax for a £20.000 motor the guy obviously has too much cash floating about (personally i would have brought a £30,000 motor) not a bloody vauxhall though. i would say the guy clearly has not had sex for at least most of his adult life unless the reason for changing the zorst was due to a sticky accident one evening god help his girlfriend (if he has one) i like to clean my car,s as much as the next man and have quite a bit of gear to do so with but please somebody hang me if i ever got that anal about it hmm i think i might try and get 1002 coats of zaino on my vr6 over the next 3 years and then top it off with a coat of turtle wax just to see if it looks good!!!!!!!! a new personal goal for me then anybody else have any interesting personal goals like your 3 month detail man ??

  19. i used the original bulb holders and yes i did gaffer tape them on  but it works and i dont think they will fall out ps your corrado is a nice colour and looks sweet on your alloys (what are they) paint looks good too :D kel
  20. i have a set of fk crystals rears and think these look great on the bramble corrado so maby this is a route for you to travel on the rear light front
  21. have done a few more bits to the car inpro front lights fogs and indicators i have also added a set of FK rear crystals i have also fitted a set of weitec hicon GTN shocks which i have to have a final adjusting session with up a little on the rear and down a little on the front . still got more paint to correct weather permitting typical i take time of work and it rains !! :( more pics to follow soon
  22. ive just put on a set of weitec hicon gtn and really like em coilover fronts and adjustable rears on the the spring plate cost £295 nice ride too firm but not harsh and not bone shaking . i have a set of weitec lowering springs if your interested 40 mm much better than the std look pm me if you are kel
  23. beleve me the paint is far from great i will do some closeups on my detailng efforts however once finished it will be perfect !! erm no i have not installed HID's i have however uprated the loom and that made the lights much better even with the std inpro bulbs that i hear are not so good dont seem too bad to me. i ordered the inpro fog/indicators yesterday so should get them in the next week or so by that time i should have finished the paint and it will all fit together nicely i think i may remove the rubber side strips from the look on a lot of the cars on here it looks quite good kel
  24. yes they are the 7.5's and they fit with no spacers and have plenty of room the colour is nice once its clean and polished , im in the process of touching up the stone chips and then wet sanding and polishing at the moment and its taking ages but worth it in the end and far cheaper than a re-spray and i get to get loads of detail practice too kel
  25. here are some more pics of my progress with the VR so far i have lowered it i have added rear crystals and crystal side repeaters i have also added inpro front lights (inpro fogs are on their way) i have also colour coded the front grill and light surrounds and also the rear number plate holder and still working on the paint and stone chips all over the place next on the list is new coilovers front and rear disks and pads!
