Would be interested it was :-) -
Never seen a heated front screen before so don't know what they are like. Do they have the lines like the rears do or are they less obvious?
-
Thanks for the help much appreciated!!

Hahaha!! Thanks for the replies guys. The car is a 1.8 16v. Would I be best getting vr6 top mounts then or just genuine 16v ones?
-
I changed my front top mounts a few weeks ago and they have had it again. I didnt buy genuine vag just the ones from gsf. I know they arnt the best but they should last longer than a few hundred miles. What could be causing them to wear so quickly?? I don't drive hard and the mileage I done just purely motorway mileage and have FK Silverline coilovers which arnt even stiff at all

Not updates this recently. Nothing has changed really apart from that I have changed the grille back to standard Rolling shot on the way to players Hoping that next year I can afford to get the body work sorted :-)

Did plan to but my mates have decided to go skeggy instead. I'll visit Stamford car show now instead. It's just up the a1 from Peterborough if your interested in visiting that aswell. Lots of old classics :) -
I picked up a wing for £20 a few months go. The body shop I use said it would be much easier and cheaper for me to source a new wing. They do come up every now and then :-) I guess it depends how much money your wanting to spend

Seen these go for $130 new on the Internet. Don't really know what price to put on it to be honest, £40 delivered??

Decided to sell my old grill as its just sat in the garage. All tabs are still there. Just some left over sticky tape on the underside where it was stuck down on my head lights. It is white but the paint isn't 100% when you look up close. As it looks on the car..... Don't know what to sell it for so I'm open to offers. Am based in Stamford near Peterborough Any questions please feel free to ask Chris

I have no issues at all. Car still drives fine and if anything it's a million times smoother thought the gear changes. Time to buy a recond box and rebuild the abf sat in the garage I guess!
-
Defiantly not the boot light, cars stripped and caged so something like that would be easy to spot :-) I've forgot the main issue I'm having aswell! I get terrible clutch judder in reverse and sometimes a little bit in the lower gears. Just put 1ltr of gear box oil in to eliminate that and it's all ended in the floor. It's leaking from where the gearbox meets the block. Would this mean the gearbox has had it?? Thanks

Multimeter seems a good investment then :-) ill do that cheers. Any ideas what sort of readings I should be looking for? It won't be a headlight loom a I got rid I my updated one and also have no stereo so minimal electrics in the car

Starting to get annoyed with the rado now and clutching at straws with what's up. After about 7-10 days my battery will be flat so the car won't start. This has been happening for a while now. Battery was new 11 months ago, I've cleaned up the earths and tried 2 alternators. Am I right in thinking this could mean I either have a nakered battery or an issue with the wires going from the alternator to the battery or could there be another issue? Unrelated my passenger side wing mirror no longer adjusts, when I try adjusting it with the nob thingy it makes a noise in the drivers mirror but nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks
-
That's fantastic I'll take another look thanks for your help!!
-
Will try and get a photo. It's basically the bit behind the trim itself that slides up and down to adjust the height of the seat belt
-
How do I remove it without snapping the slider bit? Already broke the passenger side by accident and don't want to do the same with the drivers
-
Bit of a silly question. How do I get the b pillar trim off? Can't seem to pull it off like the a and c pillar trims. The coat hook at the top seems to be attached somehow. Does this just need a real strong tug to remove or am I missing something?
