  1. Yeah i see that, thing is why would you need lights on when engine isn't running? But i see your point.
  2. I fitted an uprated kit first of all, I gained a bit more light but tbh not as much as i'd prefer, especially living in the countryside with very few street lights so plumped for the HID kit. Best thing i ever did and I wouldn't really be concerned about all the legality surrounding it I've not had any problems in that respect. Just to let you know i got mine of ebay, £80 all in, the full kit. Fitted it, realised I had a shedload of wiring and ripped out the orginal uprated loom and just kit the HIDs and it made no difference. Just a bit more space in the engine bay. So to sum up the loom is all good until you get the HIDs then i'd personally dump it.
  3. Left hand was deemed useless eh? I'm sayin nothin................................... :shades:
  4. These dials looks boss mate i'm not up to speed with DDI dials where you get them and how much they cost, plus are they a direct replacement for stock dials? ta
  5. i dunno mate but where did you get it? is it the full length one?
  6. took mine out today and i could see anything snapped or anything? I tryed to manually move it up and down i.e the the sunroof sliding, and it was stiff but it worked. Tried it with the motor and nothing Any ideas couldn't identify the water plate thingy Was thinking about just getting a passet sunroof but also having difficulty with that too. cheers
  7. Cool Cheers Tim, Any idea on what prices i'm looking at from the stealers? As detailed above it seems the 'water guide plate' is the most common part needed is this available from the stealers. Also heard theres a sunroof repair kit?? Cheers
  8. Cool, obviously it could be different from roof to roof but what is the most common thing to have gone wrong when it won't slide? It's just so i can get the parts i need, take it out, fix it, and put it back together all in a day. 1.Is this a feasible thing to achieve 2.Wheres the best place to get the parts?, stealers? Cheers
  9. Anyone actually done this yet, as i saw the thread was like a year old nearly now and wondered how successful everyones been with it?
  10. Yeah looks really good that the only thing is its er 'new' and thats the thing i like about the corrado and thats the retro feel to it, when it comes down to it modern cars are all the same really. Sorry. Also £22,000 is a bit dear really isn't it? Moan over
  11. Hi there this sorta happened with me, my indicators weren't flashing and the lights on the dash just stayed on (didn't blink) I thought it may have been whats been suggested above but i tried turning the hazard lights on, which made the indictators works fine, and now they work as normal no problems!!?? Very odd thing but at least they work okay now. :)
  12. Hi there I had this trouble when I first got my C basic set up was boot lock present but no key to lock and seperate passenger and driver keys, passenger would also fit ignition. I just got a replacement lock for the boot (the full lock), with its own key, then had the dealer change the bits on the barrel of the driver's door to accept the passenger (and ignition) key. So I now have one key for front doors and ignition and another for boot. I did ask could they do the boot too but the guy who did the job said he'd never attempted a boot lock before so couldn't guantee satisfacty job. I'm happy with end result anyway. Oh all in it was £30 for dealer's to retumble driver's door. Hope this helps

  16. My valver's developed this same fault. Guy I took it to said they develop a fault on the clocks, which would need a new circuit board on to stop the light and buzzer going off. I was just wondering wether a circuit board off a spare set of clocks can be connected to mine? I don't really wanna get another set of clocks as my milage would then be out. Any ideas anyone?
